   I felt the same excitement when I finally got good equipment. The difference is pleasantly surprising!

      our modded high res obivion versions seem to utilize even the up to date rigs. i don't know if i'm right but some details seem to look better than in skyrim. some modded tree, water, creature and world detail are really nice and unique. i do not not understand why some good features seem to be sacrificed for ?
      currently i try to get vanilla, valenwood improved and elsweyr in one stable bundle. with mo an some fiddeling i hope this should be possible. if someone has some experience with that or has this already running without gliches some feedback would be appreciated.

      I don't dare to suggest you some ways to get Oblivion better because there is too much things to say due to the too big number of changes by modding. One thing that I want to try is the Vanilla landscape look with a light ENB, but I never found one that suits to my taste yet.

      back to the roots is sometimes a good idea. the enb thing could be quite time consuming - often without better results. currently i use enb 0.259 with the memory hack. for graphics tweaking i use or and sfx and if necessary esp tweaking. valenwood improved mod seems to be so buggy/incomlete in the south east. generating distant lod wit tes4all seems not to work without gliches. the generated tamriel lod part leads always to ctd...

   Oh, how I wish I could see Oblivion in such a wonderful glory :) But always something else gets in the way. Nice catch here, xrayy.
