The Legend of Strife
..is the new name for the mod formerly known as Areth, and after a year since the last update (and three years in overall project development), version 0.2.03 has just been released. For me, this is not just another update either -- it's a huge milestone because now the overworld is complete and I can begin creating the real playable content.

My work with Strife is the culmination of efforts which began as far back as 2005, when I started drawing sketches and writing short stories as a kid for a fantasy universe I could call my own. In high school, my circle of friends liked it enough that we adapted it into a private tabletop RPG. By 2011, I was developing it as a mod for Morrowind, then moved to developing for Oblivion in the fall of 2013. Now, after countless design evolutions, we're here, with the first subcontinent complete - major cities, too - now only awaiting quests, NPCs and fully furnished interiors.

I'd like to thank those in the Nexus community for giving me a chance in sharing my vision and I hope you'll continue to follow my progress in the near future. And I'm sure we'll have some amazing captures of the new build very soon!
