I made this necklace for Aurasoma, it's a phoenix down necklace based off a picture he provided. This mod succesfully integrates a working particle system with a skinned mesh. It can be downloaded from my blog.

Notes to myself and other modders: overlapping semi transparent objects are a bad idea. There appears to be a bug in the game code causing CTDs when particles are added to clothes that take the amulet slot. A possible workaround - that I used here - is to turn the amulet into a piece of armor.

P.S. Excuse the music from SM Crystal OST which doesn't fit, I was messing with my playlists for Dynamic Music System prior to recording the video below.

    Looks like it came out rather nicely, I might have to add it to my CM Partner mod. If its all right with you.

    Yeah the music doesn't quite fit with the item. Maybe something more along the lines of A Place to Return to Someday From Final Fantasy 9 would fit better.

      Can't wait to see it on some of your characters. The music yes, it just happened to be there coz I was experimenting with DMS... oh well, it doesn't really matter in the end, I just wanted to quickly show the particle effect.
