a) General Advice / Differences from vanilla oblivion

Firstly
, there is a loose concept of scaling enemy level in this mod. Enemies can have a range of levels EG: An orc in Shamir may be Level 1-9, while an orc in the Ondorage Mountains may be Level 17-25. The idea is that enemies are generally more or less difficult depending on the location.

Secondly, there are certain items which only drop from enemies in this mod. These items include Jewels for enchanting, the special herb of the island, and the special Elixir of the Island. There are more details in the items section.

Third, instead of a large open world, the islands are made up of medium-to-large sub-spaces that are connected. With this design, its easier to prevent players from exploring new areas without completing the prerequisite quests (sort of a more traditional RPG concept with a touch of exploration) I understand their are drawbacks to this design, but it is what it is.

Lastly, Jumping is required in most dungeons. You don't need to have amazing acrobatics or speed, but you do need to jump... If you fail a jump look for a way back up, there is always a ladder, ledge, or ramp you can climb back up to.

b) Items List
* Enchanted Jewels - These Jewels are used to enchant your weapon/armor like a sigil stone. The quality of jewels depends on the enemy who drops it. EG: An Orc in Shamir can only drop petty Jewels, a Vampire in Godand's Tower can drop all jewels up to Adept quality, and any enemy in the Ondorage Mountains can drop the very best (Legendary) Jewels. The chances of getting a higher quality jewel is exponentially lower than getting a jewel of one quality lesser, meaning, you could kill many enemies and only get lesser quality jewels, even if they can drop higher quality ones. The best strategy is to kill as many enemies as possible in Ondorage Mountains and the Final Labyrinth.

* Master Torch - A torch which never breaks.

* New Alchemy Ingredients - There are several new run-of-the-mill ingredients to find. Most of them come from enemies.

* Warp Stones - These stones can be bought at their respective village (Except the first 3 which are bought in Centiel City's 'Odd Shop'). EG the Shamir Warp stone gives you a spell which allows you to teleport to... Can you guess?... Shamir! These jewels have custom made meshes so they may look pretty in your display case... Anyways, when you get a jewel, it adds the warp spell, if you drop a jewel, you lose the warp spell.

* Legendary Swords - There are 4 unique swords to collect. The first two you receive are scaled to your level, the last two are have similar stats to a daedric longsword. There's a book in the game which describes them in more detail and gives a back-story for each.

* New Books - There are several that add to the history of my little world. Some grant grant +skills, but not all.

* Guard Armors - Basically there are some retextured legion armors the guards wear. One is Dark Blue, for common soldiers, the other is a Greyish metal color for Captains.

* Stone Hammer - A volundrung retexture that appears more stony in texture. Has no enchantment and properties like a daedric warhammer.

c) Spells List

* Reanimate - Gives you the reanimate spell from staff of worms. Master of Conjuration required.

* Corruption
- Gives you the Corruption spell from skull of corruption. Master of Alteration required.

* Sanguine Rose - Gives you the Sanguine Rose spell. Master of Mysticism required.

* Wabbajack - Gives you the Wabbajack spell. Master of Conjuration required.

These spells are bought in the Silent Village Church, unless you beat the game (The silent elves disappear afterwards)

I. Getting Started
If you have activated the mod and finished the tutorial, a quest will automatically be started for you called 'Centiel'. This is a placeholder quest to help you go from place to place. The first objective is getting to Naviport. Go to anvil and find 'Captain Naviport'. He will only take you to Naviport at the moment. Agree to sail to Naviport to start the first real quest.

II. Naviport
ITEMS OF INTEREST:
* Master Torch - A torch which never breaks. Find the old man living in the boarding house, he needs 50 torches to make one 'Master Torch'

Find the old man in Naviport manor. Ask him about the statue. Go to the ruins outside of town, go inside. Go up the tower, exit to the bridge. Make your way across the bridge (Jumping is required, if you fall off, there is a ladder you can climb up). Enter the treasury (2nd level). Find the on the balcony to your left in a little chest. Use it to open the vault. Kill the boss, take the statue. Return it to the old man in town. You get 2000G and can sail to Centiel now.

III. Centiel - Beginning
You rowed from the captains boat to the cliff near Ondor's treasure hoard, there is no way back for now. Go into the dark cave. Make your way through the cave until you come to a chasm with water at the bottom. Jump into the chasm (its gonna hurt a little). Exit and you are tossed into the land of the Shamir Tribe.

IV. Shamir/Waterfall Cave
Go east according to compass and find Shamir village. Find the villager who talks about the waterfall sage and she will start your quest. Go to the waterfall cave. Make your way through the first level. In the second level there is a door with a bunch of orcs near it. You can try to pick the lock or grab a key in the hallway before that orc infested room. Go talk to the waterfall sage. He knows nothing, but now your quest advances. Leave the cave and head back to Shamir.

V. Sazir/The Feud
When you come back talk to the chief. His daughter was kidnapped by the possessed tribe of Sazir to the west. He gives you a key to their village. Go there and enter the Chief's house. Pick up the statue on his drawers. Its actually a key to the swamp shrine in Shamir County. Go to the swamp shrine. Enter the shrine. There is a balcony surrounding the main room. On the balcony is a door that is locked. Pick the lock or get the key in the sub room to the left of the main room. Kill the cult leader, talk to Daisy. Daisy is free and you need to go talk to her dad back in Shamir village. He will give you the first of the 5 Jewels required to enter the final labyrinth.

VI. Claraturim/Thieves Hideout
ITEMS OF INTEREST:

* Rune Sword - Leveled Fine Steel Longsword with fire enchantment. You can get it from Hector, who lives up the hill to the right when you enter the bay via Sazir passage.

Go back to Sazir and go to the northwest corner. The way to Centiel Bay is open. Claraturim is south in this worldspace, and Centiel City is Northwest. You can't get into Centiel City without a safety pass, so you need to go to Claraturim first. Go to Claraturim. Find the mayors house (the biggest house) and talk to the Young Man inside. He tells you the mayor was kidnaped by thieves outside of town. Go to the rowboat to the left of the mayors house, activate it to row to the cave. Once in the cave head left to the ladder. Go up the ladder and then make your way through level 2. In level three there is a 3 way hall  with one locked door. Take the other path to find the first thief. Kill him and take the key. Open the door and kill the second thief. Go to the next ladder and you will be on a clif in Claraturim. Kill the Last Thief up there and take his key. Go into the cave and talk to the mayor. He is free now. Once he disappears, read the book on the table. It gives you hints concerning the treasures. Go back to town and talk to the mayor (Jump off the cliff for cool points) He gives you the safety pass. Now you can enter the city.

VII. Centiel City
ITEMS OF INTEREST:
* Warp Stones (First Four) - You must complete the Odd Shop side quest to get these. Buy them from the Odd Shop Keeper. There is one for Shamir, Sazir, Claraturim, and Centiel City

Enter the city to the northwest of Centiel bay. Find a house with a sign that says 'Lady Bower's'. Its a whore house. (There is no suggestive content here) Find the Duke's General in one of the private rooms. He is embarassed and wants you to keep it a secret. He bribes you with an invite to the castle. Go to the castle and meet the duke in the throne room. There is a party you will go to but its not ready yet. Go find Roland again and he reminds you not to speak of the whore house. The party is ready. Go to the party and talk to the Duke. He gives you an assignment to kill the evil wizard outside of town.

VIII. The Crypt

To get inside the wizards tower you must have the armlet found inside the crypt. The crypt is beside the church in an abandoned house near the harbor gate. Go inside the crypt each room is locked except the first one to your right. Solve each riddle to advance to the next room. I will give you the solution to each room:

  • Talk to the spirit
  • Kill the imps in order, yellow, red, white
  • There is an invisible staircase you climb and press a button to the southeast of the room.
  • Read the book next to the fire
  • Kill Dirk first (the purplish black cloaked skeleton)
  •  Kill the spirit.
Go to the spirit's coffin and take the armlet.

IX. Godand's Tower
Go through Centiel Harbor and exit to the next bay through the gate to the north. Go northwest till you find the tower. Use the magical force in front of the tower. The armlet dispels the barrier. Go inside the tower. Go to the 4 way room and go left first. There is a long bridge with a trap. Go across the bridge and push the button. The north room is now open. Go back to the 4 way and go north. To the east of that room is a chest with Odorous garlic. Don't eat it (You can't anyways). Go back to the 4 way and take the stairs east. There is a weird vampire in there. Talk to him and he will get a whiff of your stinky garlic and run away... Heh... Now go to the 3 way that just opened up. There is a locked gate to the right. Go left through the gauntlet and find a key outside the poisonous gas chambers. Take the key to the locked door and go up to the third level. Make your way to the room with the weird vampire. Kill him and go up to Godand's chamber. Speak with Godand's and you will fight him. Beat him up. When he wakes up speak with him again. The way to the second jewel is open, grab it and exit through the portal.

X. The Palace Dungeon
Return to the Duke for your 'Reward'. He will throw you in his dungeon. Now the Duke is your enemy. Make your way through the dungeons first and second levels. The third level is a secret part of the castle. Head up towards the highest room and enter the Princess' chamber. She was being held hostage by the Duke, now she is held hostage by Draco who wishes to hold her ransom. Draco takes off with the princess. Exit the princess' room and cut across the battlement. Take the tower down to the courtyard. Go back to the guard barracks where you found Roland before. Help him kill the Duke's soldiers. Talk to Roland and he reveals that the Duke took a ship to Vidam, which is a western village on the isle. To cover his tracks, the Duke had the Lighthouse stone of Claraturim thrown into the sea. Roland informs you that you must find a new lighthouse in order to follow the Duke.

XI. The Lighthouse Stone
The Lighthouse stone is a precious ore found only within the Elven Woods. Use the Key Roland gave you to enter the tower to the left when you exit the palace courtyard. There is a secret tunnel in there which leads to the Elven Woods. The first thing you'll see is the home of the Warden Ken. Ken gives you some good advice for finding the Lighthouse stone, but nothing conclusive. Basically there are 3 groups of Elves you must speak to and be tricked by in order to gain access to the lighthouse stone. The first time you speak to one of the groups they will teleport you to some random location within the vast woods... Little jerks... If you talk to the same group again, they will inform you of their friends locations. After you have been tricked by all three groups of elves, speak to any of the elves again and they will tell you that they are your friends now and they will reveal the path to a Lighthouse stone. Go to the nrthmost cave (the path to the female's camp) and take a right. There is a murky path you must take to find the grove which contains the stone. Make your way through and get the stone (Note that this way is blocked by roots until you befriend the elves). Take the lighthouse stone to the Claraturim lighthouse keeper. He fixed the lighthouse and now you can pursue the Duke again.

XII. Vidam Mines
ITEMS OF INTEREST:

* Sword of Thunder - Leveled electric elven sword with bright retexture.
* Warp Stone - For sale in the shop.

When you arrive in Vidam, head into town and speak with the sickly old shop keeper. He tells you the Duke has taken the villagers captive and is forcing them to dig in the mines for one of the Jewels. Go to the mines to the northwest of Vidam county. There will be three paths, west, north, and east. You will be going through the mines in that respective order. In the east mines there is lava, so watch your step! Basically you will hop across the lake of fire, and make your way up through the tunnels until you find a secret hole. Drop down the hole and kill the first Mine Boss. Talk to the young man afterwards and he'll give you a key. Head to the north tunnels and use your new key to go in. You can go through the pit or go through the top section to get to the next mine boss. Kill him and get the key from the next young man. Use your new  key to access the east tunnel. Go down the tunnel and find the last mine boss and kill him. Talk to the young man who explains that the Duke made off with the Jewel they found there. The villagers of Vidam have been rescued and they wish to reward you. Head back to Vidam and enter the northeast house. There is a young man there who gives you the Sword of Thunder and informs you that they have dug a tunnel to the elven village of Nisebaek for you. Nisebaek is where the Duke was heading last, so its time for you to follow him.

XIII. Nisebaek/The Ocean Shrine
ITEMS OF INTEREST
:
* Warp Stone - For sale in the shop.
* Stone Hammer - Get it from the Boss who wields it in Stonefall Cave.

Go back to Vidam Mines and head to the north tunnel. Head right instead of left at the first three way and there is now a path to Nisebaek County. Follow the path north until you find Nisebaek Village. Go to the mayor's house (the northeastern-most home) Talk to the mayor and he tells you the Duke had been there, stolen his prized Jewel, and went on to the Ocean Shrine (shrine on the northeast island of Nisebaek county). The problem is that the Duke sealed the way into the Ocean shrine, so you must take a detour: Stonefall cave. The mayor gives you the key to the cave. Stonefall is located just outside the mayor's house and is accessible via the creek. When you enter the cave go right instead of forward and look for the key to open the next room. The key is in a narrow tunnel. Use it to unlock the door that was forward of the three way. In the second level, you must trigger the pressure plate at the dead end with creepy chest to open the first secret wall to the right. Go through the room and up the stairs, then turn left into the narrow room to open the secret wall that was left of the spooky chest. Go back and head through the left tunnel to come to a large room. There are two switches you must find to open the path to the Stonefall Giant's lair. One is on the right platform, the other on the left. Once you press both switches go to the Giant's room.

BOSS: STONEFALL GIANT

He was a lot of health and is immune to poison. His hammer is powerful and he can paralyze you with a headbutt. Best strategy is just to be tough and use potions to keep yourself alive. He has great Enchanted Jewel drop rates, so be sure to check his corpse.

Once you kill the giant, head through the hole in the wall that just fell through. Go up the stairs and you will be in the Ocean Shrine Courtyard. Go into the shrine and go left at the three way. There is a grate you must fall through. when you fall through, one path leads back up and one goes down into some water. Dive into the water and look for a narrow tunnel, the tunnel has a switch at the end. Careful not to run out of air. Now go the way that leads back up. There is a room with The Ice Sword in it. You need to pull the lever in one of the tombs to open the way. Go up the set of stairs inside the room and through the tunnel to a locked door if you want the sword of ice. You need to pick the lock. Once you have the sword, exit the room to the right and go back towards the room with the floor whole. The gate is now open. Go inside and face the Duke.

BOSS: The Duke

He is more of a minor boss. He's good with a sword and has normal health. You can't kill him, you just knock him unconscious.

Once the Duke gains his senses back, he will explain that you win and you get the Jewel. Grab the Jewel on the pedestal and you have been tricked. The jewel is a fake and you are paralyzed by its spell. The Duke comes to gloat over you and then Godand rescues you from afar with his magic. You are warped to Godand's tower and he explains that Draco knows where Ondor's treasures are. You must find Draco on the summit of Mt Ondorage.

XIV. Mt Ondorage
Mt. Ondorage is a large open area accessible via Shamir county. Go to Shamir and find the passage in between Shamir village and the Waterfall Cave. Go through the passage. Now you just need to head northwest until you reach the snowy summit. The enemies at this point all scale up to level 25 so play time is over. Beware the bears since they can be very dangerous to characters with low armor/health. If you made it to the summit talk to Draco and he explains his guilt to you and he wants to kill the Duke. But Draco has some loose sense of honor and will only allow either you or himself to go after the Duke. You two must fight for the right to kill the Duke.

BOSS: Draco
He is more of a minor boss. He's good with his axe, has enchanted gear, and has normal health. You can't kill him, you just knock him unconscious.

Once you beat Draco, use the statue to teleport to Dark cave... Wait a minute, your back at the beginning of the Game! ?@#$!!!... Anyways, a new path has opened in the cave. Instead of dropping down the chasm, turn right at the tunnel just before the chasm room and enter the silent village.

XV. The Silent Village
ITEMS OF INTEREST
:
* Warp Stone - For sale in the shop.

SPELLS OF INTEREST:
* The Daedric Staff Spells - Buy them from the priest

This village gets its own section because I don't want you to miss out on the goodies here. There is a church where the priest sells a few of the daedric spells which are only usable via daedric artifacts in vanilla oblivion. You can only cast them if you have master skill in the respective school of magic and enough spell points, so they aren't super unbalanced or anything... You can own a room in the village for whatever that's worth. Be warned, these elves all disappear after you beat the game. (Except the shopkeeper but she isn't a silent elf anyways....) You don't really even have to do anything in this village, feel free to just go straight to the warp room if you hate my lore/story and don't want to explore it in depth here....

XVI. Ondor's Labyrinth
ITEMS OF INTEREST:
* Demon Brand - A powerful unenchanted sword that looks like the ebony blade.

I hope your ready to spend some time dungeon crawling here. If you played Daggerfall at all, this will be a breeze. If not... Well, good luck... Each section of labyrinth has a boss and switches which must be used to open the way to the respective boss. I can't really explain exactly how to get to each switch so its on you to find them.

Video of me clearing all sections of final labyrinth: https://youtu.be/mN5dBAaVmKE

Instead I'll just give a brief overview of what you'll do here:
1. Get through the first maze. There's no boss here
2. Get through the Digestive Pits, find Death-Root, the first of the guardians

BOSS: Death-Root

A giant gnarl without the obnoxious gnarl spells but with an obnoxious amount of health. Treat these boss fights seriously because these guys are powerful. Death root has a damage health bolt and a strong attack. He is very very weak to poison and fire, so be sure to exploit that.

3. Get through the frozen cavern, find the Frozen Knight
BOSS: Frozen Knight
A giant Frost Atronach. He's a lot like death root except he is weak to fire only and resists frost. He has a frost wave spell thats tough to avoid, so absorb/reflect/resist is good to have. His attack is no joke but he doesn't seem to do it very often.

4. Go down to the dragons den and find Ondorage's Aspect

BOSS: Ondorage's Aspect

A giant purple Daedroth. Be very careful with this guy. He has freakishly good attack reach and severe damage. Even a godly player can be killed by this guy. Bring potions, and poisons, and ranged Lightning spells. If your still alive, good job, the hardest part is done.

5. Go to the portal and warp to Lord Ondor's tomb, a bizarre dimension where the ghost of Ondor watches over his treasures.

BOSS: Lord Ondor

The final boss. He is ghostly and sometimes hard to see. He has max stats and some good spells. He will pretty much always summon a top-tier wraith to help in the fight, so beware of silencing. He is immune to poison which is probably the hardest part about this fight.

6. If you killed Lord Ondor, congrats! You beat my mod! Be sure to look for Ondor's sword (Demon Brand) as it is powerful and unique. There is a portal which opened up. Take it to rob Ondor's riches and warp back to Centiel City.

SIDE QUEST

XVII. The Odd Shop

Go to Centiel city and find the house with a sign out front that says 'closed for-sale' in big red letters. Go inside and enter the owner's quarters. Speak to the owner and he tells you he wants to open a shop but doesn't have the money for the initial investment. Go talk to the warehouse owner in Centiel harbor and he will ask you if you really want to donate 5k to help the guy open his shop. Pay the man if you can and return to the shop you invested in. It is now full of odd wares, including the first 4 warp stones. Speak to the owner and he tells you he will leave your share of the profits on the counter chest. Return to the shop regularly (every 3 days I think) to continue receiving your cut. Feel happy feelings for helping this man pursue his dreams.
I hope you got rich and had fun playing! Be sure to visit me in Centiel City!
