About this video

Today we have our first official episode of the Oblivion Mod of the Month, taking a look at the best mods of June 2017. The idea behind this series is to release a video every month honoring the best mods released in that particular month, as decided by popular vote.

Vote for the best mods of July 2017 here.

Our mod of the month for June 2017 is really five mods: The Imperial Biosphere, The Norman Fort Ruins, The Daedric Terrain, Terrain for a Mad God, and Stonewall By Discovery1. This set of graphic replacers, all by the same author, sets out to enhance and replace the landscapes of Cyrodiil, Oblivion, and the Shivering Isles, not to mention the architecture of the various forts found dotting the landscapes of the Imperial Province. There's just a massive number of replacers here, which all include, to my knowledge, bump-mapping support, and they're all of pretty high-quality, so it's little wonder that collectively these are all mods of the month for June 2017.

Second choice for mod of the month is CC's Skyblivion Ayleid Ruins By ClearanceClarence, an extremely new and fairly up-to-date set of replacers for the famed Ayleid architecture of Cyrodiil, originally meant for the Skyblivion project that seeks to recreate Oblivion in the Skyrim engine. These amazing looking textures come in 1k and 2k versions, though the final Skyblivion textures in Skyrim will be 8k in the end, but regardless this is a really beautiful replacer package that makes the game feel that much more up-to-date in 2017.

Finally, our third choice for the mod of the month is Skygazer Moons for Oblivion By Fadingsignal and Anoxeron, and this is another graphics replacer, this time replacing the moons of Tamriel, and once again this was actually originally a Skyrim mod that's been ported into Oblivion, including 2k replacers for the moons Masser and Secunda. This is a lovely new look for the iconic moons of Nirn, and definitely worth checking out for yourself.
