Discovery1's sundews (and more) in Nehrim.

Discovery1 has left Nexus last weekend.  We knew before that this was to happen some day not too far away, but then, when .. it was all too sudden.  English is not my language of choice to express my feelings.  Just this much:  in recent years, when looking up at the sky, observing an interesting, dramatic even, cloud formation, I was likely thinking, Wow, that's one for discovery1!


Discovery1 - you will be dearly missed.  Adieu.

    I was monitoring Blackwood Brook ("in the process of updating"), and hours after the last time I looked, Discovery1 had already asked for his account to be closed. Some people have had just enough time to see that the upload has almost doubled in size.

    My best guess is that Discovery1 was not aware of the fact that his files would be gone with him. His image share is still available - and that is something - as is his forum profile.

      I happened to download the Blackwood Brook Uncharted mod in the brief bit of time it was online, if you need them to upload with the batch you're doing maintaining his mods.

      Everytime I suggested making a BAIN to Discovery1 he said, "Sure, take what you need." The thing is, I can't ask him anymore.

      So, seemingly you are the Standard Bearer of Blackwood Brook county. You have to show us around in the image share. ^^

      EDIT: Unless Discovery1 has issued specific terms'n' conditions about (re)usage.

    What!? Discovery has left the Nexus? why?
    ...and what happened to all his awesome mods!? there were So many I wanted to download one day... :/

    Of course I wish him all the best, and I thank him for all his great work!

    It really was sudden! He just released his Blackwood Marsh Revisited mod, and suddenly it was gone along with the rest of his mods...finally noticed he requested to have his account closed.

    Count me as another surprise! Discovery1 has made so many beautiful contributions to the community. Of course real life comes first, and I wish him all the best... but, did he take all his mods down, or am I missing something? It seems incredibly sad if his work was lost.

    I don't know if you are in contact with him, TesaPlus, but if you are, I hope you can convey to him how much his work was appreciated here. I genuinely thank him for all the beauty his mods have added to my game.

    I only recently started playing Oblivion again... and came back to this news... If I may enquire, what happened?
    Going by your post, I feel this is something I would have known if I had spent more time on the forums, but I'm often out of the loop on such things.
    If it's actually something private, and in fact not generally known, than please excuse the question. I value my own privacy a great deal, and thus respect that of others.
