How about a helmet camera and live coverage?? ---> It's thrilling! n_n

Edit (a second later) : Scrolling down your flickr pics I must say that I fell in love with your bike :-)

That would be awesome but a helmet camera is not that lore friendly!
Besides that I don't like wearing helmets ingame. Fortunately I have a Battle Hood (found it on a deafeated Battle Mage) which gives me a little protection but I only use it when fighting (preferentially against the stronger enemies/opponents).

Thanks for watching my older flickr images. Back then, when the bike was new, I made some snapshots with my camera phone. It is almost 5 years old now (has run 15.406 km). I still have it and use it to drive to work sometimes (14 km away). Unfortunately I have not that much time to make longer trips, as I did in 2008/2009.

Ha, Tesa+'s comment made me curious enough to open an account on yahoo (to sign in to flickr - Since when do they force you to start an account with something you don't ever EVER need - and that demands your phone number??? But what the heck...) Me too, I love this bike. Looks like a very solid lightweight speed machine. I like to think of myself as an amateur biker too , even though my game is not so much speed as it's distance and stamina (I like to boast about the Berlin-Poznan distance I did in one day, but it was already a few years ago). It's really a shame I can't 'waste' much time on such trips no more. Maybe later when my little girl grows up a bit...

In response to post #12914213. #12920028, #14360469 are all replies on the same post.

      Thanks, mac!
Berlin-Poznan in one day? Seriously? That's impressive!

      -----------------
The bike weights about 11 kg. (10,7)
The frame looks (and indeed is) more stable than that of a "usual" racer (as you can see on the broader downtube) and it is actually a cyclo-cross bicycle.
Over the years I owned some (normal) mountainbikes. I always liked to ride over forest paths/roads, but also (and mostly) on normal roads. So as I decided to buy a new one, a cyclo-cross bike seemed to be the best solution for me. It originally came with larger tires (37mm - coarse tread) which I replaced with narrower ones (Schwalbe Marathon Plus - 25mm).
Those have a finger-thick hard rubber reinforcement under the tread, which gives me the option to still use some dirt roads with light gravel (parts of my old tracks) without being afraid to kill my tyres.

A treasure map was not there by accident? That would be great! Wonderful pictures, Tob, I liked everything))

      Thank you very much!
Indeed, a treasure map would've been nice.
But at least the adventurers diary included some informations about the nearby ruin...

Excellent, thank you. But I do not think you should stay there. It does not seem to be a lucky place to stay. The last residents did not do well. Take what you find and camp another place to be safe.

Thank you very much, Zella and macz! (...hey, nice to see you here! )

Well, most of the camps in Nehrim have no map markers. So, although I own a bedroll (mod) I was pretty happy to see these tents and the fireplace. The camp seemed abandoned. I only found one dead bandit nearby (probably killed by an wild animal - not that uncommon in Nehrim). I had no idea if there were more of them or where they were. An extended search around the camp made me confident that it seened to be safe to spend the night there, and as you can seeI'm still alive.

At last I was not forced to sleep under the open sky (I so miss my portable ten and campfire from Cyrodiil).

Better to sleep under an open sky than wake under an open mouth! We are glad you survived, but you do need to get your own tent very soon.
