About this image

Previous <== Ubanga ==> Next

Hello, with a fresh, lean Oblivion installation came a new graphics setup -- I am quite content with the result.

The camera looks from a hill near Bearato SW towards the Sandara River valley, dominated by this peak I like to call La Tour Eiffel. (It's like in Paris: If you get lost, just look for La Tour ;-)

The view stretches from the cliffs near the port of Portorello on the right to the Kerro Karadali on the left.

Hope you enjoy it.

EDIT: Oops, forgot to wipe out the traces of my shame some annoyed user pointed out.

Thanks! Judging from the pics you've uploaded at Ubanga's page you use a very similar setup, don't you.

Nice graphics and fantastic view over the fort and the valley! That huge mountain in background is a really striking landmark.
Good to use it for orientation.
(it's the same as with the White Gold Tower in Cyrodiil^^)

Colorado Springs is at the edge of the Rockies.
Newcomers are told to remember "The mountains are to the west".

Hey, it's a really great idea to inform them that this gargantuan thing (mall? bank? ) to the west is called mountains... I must remember it.

Tobjoern, thanks, yes, both the tower and this mountain tend to slip into every picture ;-)

Malachi, and what do you do if there are mountains to every side but the west where is the sea? n_n

Happy new year to Helga the Garden Gnome!

It's the Year of the Maggot, they say... ;P
(which means there's going to be a lot of gardening to do)
      Hey, the same to you.

Paris? Paris? As in Paris Hilton?
Oh no, silly me, you must mean Paris, Texas...

So that's where you've been hiding - behind a new monster of graphics so that you can take even nicer screenies of this mighty land ;P

It's a "la" in french, the determiner, because "tour" is feminine. Plus the use of "le" by english speakers in every bloody situation they can is quite shameful. Well, just so you know...

LOL Dang! Of course it is la. But at least you know what I am talking about, that is what matters, at least here on Nexus ;-) And please do not feel shame just because of me. :-)
