Hide/Fade Notifications 1.61
Expeditions Update Notice
Expeditions update made changes to the UI files. Because of that, the notification panel is now hidden even when using the binoculars, which isn't a desired outcome - after all, there is some important mission info in there among the spam (If anyone knows how to change that, let me know).
Instead, I added an optional version that removes the notifications' background and icon, and fades the text - making the whole thing blend into the scenery - and a bit harder to read.
* USE ONLY ONE PAK FILE.
Description
I find the constant, repeating, overly helpful, guidance hints, extreme weather warning, nagging mission remarks and chatty frigate captains entirely unneeded and very annoying. This mod hides them all.
* The mod can’t block specific notifications and allow others... What it does instead is hide/dim the message's HUD object.
Install
Copy the PAK file to [{NMS Installation Folder}\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\MODS], create the MODS folder if it doesn't exist, and rename/delete DISABLEMODS.TXT file if it exists.
