GCENVIROMENTGLOBALS.GLOBALS.MBIN and CLOUDNEWFRAGMENT.SHADER.H.BIN files don't have been changed since 1.57 update, so "Better Clouds" working good in 1.58, like before. And personally, I like what 2000gmod have done with the cirrus clouds. I think he found a good compromise for atmo and space transition. And in space, in low orbit we don't see clouds anymore over spaceships or asteroids. He did the max with HG give us. For those reasons, "Better Clouds" don't need an update.
Latest Experimental Patch did something to clouds(change will be most likely in public version later) so i wanted to ask is this mod compatible with the latest Experimental/Future Version? What kind of official changes could cause problems to your mod? Just asking as i am quite neurotic when it comes to mods conflicting with the game...i blame Bethesda for that.
I noticed they apparently made the clouds look better, but they look even more pixelated and crappy than they did before for me, this mod still works properly and continues to fix it.
Man i think these are my favorite clouds, really waiting for a no high clouds version, or even just a version where those clouds are higher detail too and a bit lower. CC's clouds are nice, but too dark. The 20-20 clouds are amazingly detailed, but almost too detailed causing shader rings to swoosh on the cloud material. Yours are a perfect blend of detail and softness, and bright white clouds.
doesn't work for me, i still have the vanilla clouds and i don't have much mods
asteroidreduction crecent worlds with black space compatibility less intrusive rings Next clean space with nebulas no vigñette/chromatic/scanlines Rayrod camera overhaul
I really love this mod now with the version with normal speed clouds.
However I have an issue.
I also use the mod No High Clouds by lok2 which edits the same file SHADERS\CODE\CUSTOM\CLOUDNEWFRAGMENT.SHADER.H.BIN
Am I correct that it's the same file you edit with Better clouds GCENVIROMENTGLOBALS.GLOBALS.MBIN + CLOUDNEWFRAGMENT.SHADER.H.BIN.?
If so could you possibly add a version that removes the external layer of cloud which is removed from "No High Clouds" mod? The high clouds mod fixes ugly artifacts for me so it's a must and it sucks to miss out on your mod because of it.
Lo2k who made the no high clouds mod also made a better mod and I assume he made them with compatability for his other mods in mind. While this cloud mod looks better imo, if it isn't compatible with no high clouds, I suggest switching to Lo2k's better clouds mod instead. The clouds look slightly less good but the absence of the whispy space clouds make it worth it.

I wish Nexus would automatically hide or delete old garbage mods that flood my search results

I would really appreciate your help here. :)
