About this mod

A simple preset that gives a painterly, aquarelle-looking effect.

Permissions and credits
Not many effects were used: SweetFX's vibrance, technicolor2 (augmented blue and red, but feel free to experiment), filmgrain (you won't see it =) ), CustomFX's paint, modified Gr8mmFilm filter to give the canvas texture, and BasicFX's Border, modified too so everything doesn't have the same brightness, it helps giving a better effect about the canvas, but it's very light, you may also won't notice it :)

My IG gamma is set to 128, but as for technicolor and vibrance, it only depends on your tastes.

The menu (when starting the game) is a bit laggy, also it is when entering a planet. I guess it's just a lot to process due to procedural, and maybe caused only by my processor, though it's a good one. Any help, or even better recreation of this preset is welcome =)

Also, if you don't like the canvas, here it is:

"C:\GOG GAMES\No Man's Sky\Binaries\ReShade\CustomFX\Textures\CFX_Gr8mmFilm.png"

You can change it to whatever you want as you keep the resolution, it will work ^^

And if you want to see it more:

Open CustomFX.cfg (C:\GOG GAMES\No Man's Sky\Binaries\ReShade), Ctrl+F "Gr8", then configure it at the third "#", and maybe experiment the others too ^^
Also, the original Gr8mmFilm is animated. So by adding frames to the .png, and at the first "#", and by changing the resolution at ninth # (maybe eigth one too if you have a high resolution screen :) ) you can re-animate it ^^

Lastly, feel also free to play with the Border (C:\GOG GAMES\No Man's Sky\Binaries\ReShade\BasicFX\Textures\bMask.png): lighter colors means more transparent ^^

Many effects can be given to the screen and it's very easy to do.

There isn't anything to configure, just one parameter if you want to disable it: Open the same folder as where CustomFX is located, open BasicFX.cfg, you'll find the Border configuration very quickly, and just set "1" to "0" ^^

And to end that, you should know text is unreadable. I'm still trying to configure that, but it's not a big problem: if you played a few hours, you'll easily guess what's written. Also gameplay is smooth :)

Have fun ^3^
