For some reason the program doesn't let me at the directory to libMBIN.dll
I can set the directory to the exe just fine but whenever I try adding the .dll the program lags out and doesn't end up adding it. The log doesn't even record it trying to do anything.
This only seems to occur using the latest versions of MBIN. Older ones after a certain date seem to work fine -
Are there any alternative tools like this one that come with some form of documentation that explains what to do on a level for people who were not involved with the development of the tool?

Why would you put yellow text on a white background?
I tried both a magnifying glass and the zoom on my phone's camera, but I can't read it. -
I'm having a problem where the first prompt I get when I check all files on the right panel and initiate the merge asks whether I want to "compare the different data templates."
Clicking yes results in a "Different entries were found for the data templates. Should the merging process be continued anyway?" prompt for every single modified entry in a 39 strong modlist. "No" cancels the merge, "Yes" just opens a prompt for the next file, clicking either also minimizes the program for whatever reason. I clicked yes on each prompt that popped up several dozen times before giving up.
There is a curious lack of documentation (no readme, a single tutorial video that barely explains anything) and I'm not sure where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated. -
Just want to find out, when doing a merge between 2 or more mods, how does the merger handle the mod order?
EXO's Expanse and DUD Space Colors conflict, but I want EXO's Expanse to override DUD Space Colors where necessary. When prompted, do I select EXO's Expanse first or DUD Space Colors?-
Just go into your MODS folder and rename Expanse to have more underscores (_) in front of the name than DUDs has. This way, DUD's will load first and Expanse will load second, giving Expanse precedence. Anyother option is the Jasondude and Exosolar's Hybrid Expanse version. It's Expanse with Dud's palettes added.

What does it mean when I get this error when trying to merge a two file conflict:
D:\STEAM\STEAMAPPS\COMMON\NO MAN'S SKY\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\MODS\__2TEMP_EXTRACT\_BIGTHINGS5.PAK\METADATA\SIMULATION\SOLARSYSTEM\BIOMES\BARREN\BARRENBIGPROPSOBJECTSFULL.MBIN ==> could not be converted
Is there a workaround for this error? If not, what is my solution to this error?
Thank you -
I was editing a mod conflict. I click on the boxes for two MBIN files with a conflict, then right clicked and it brought up an extensive menu. See screenprint at https://imgur.com/a/OiVttmN. I clicked on the "Open checked files with external editor (3files check)". It tried to create some files with nonsense names and it just didn't work. There is a glitch in this feature.

When I start the program and put the project file in the bottom window of the program, it takes a VERY long time to "Check PAK Files". So I will end the program through task manager. However, when I restart the program it starts right back where it stopped. There doesn't seem to be a way of restarting the program from the beginning if you had to end the program through task manager. Even if I reboot the computer, it will still restart where it left off with the "Check PAK files" window. Is there a config file somewhere that needs deleting in order to get the program to start at the beginning?

I copied and pasted a PAK file in the projects area of the program. A screen popped up saying "Check PAK files..." It has been on that screen for about 15 minutes already. How long is it supposed to take? I am using MBIN 3.99.1 (the latest from githuib).

I ended the program, went back in and it worked. It brought up the mods in the project window. It shows no conflicts in the bottom window, but in the right side window there is a message that says, "Conflicts detected" but the rest of the right window is blank. I guess that means no conflicts, which is hard to believe with 13 MODS.

I downloaded the latest version (5.0). When I execute it, it brings up a window asking me to install .NET5.0. I am sure I have .NET installed, but whatever. So I click Yes and it takes me to the Microsoft website for .NET5. There is a message about that version being deprecated, but it still lets you install it. So, I install it per the Microsoft installer. After installation of .NET5, I execute the NMS-MCDAMM.exe program and it keeps asking me to install .NET. When I click Yes, it keeps taking me to Microsoft. I have Windows 10.
