i added some screenshot ( mods used) before/after , test by yourself ingame!
new version 4.0 out , spend some hours in my playtrough ajusting everything to give a better overall feel, hope you like it :) have fun !
Darker Nights ( black ) mod is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED with the reshade. Colors are a bit weird at night without it when my preset is used. i got 2 screenshots to show vanilla nights vs darker nights
Fps drop : 2 to 5 depending on the landscape if you choose the preset with ambientlight effect off
Fps drop : 2 to 10 depending on the landscape if you choose the preset with ambientlight effect on . i think it brings a more natural shade/shadows to the game. My first 3 Screenshots were all taken with Ambient light On.
{ i think that the ambientlight effect makes everything more * connected* } the last 3 pictures in the screenshots shows 1. no reshade 2. reshade without ambient light ON 3. reshade with ambient light on . for some , it may look better without ambientlight. i like both on or off :) best thing is to test by yourself, ingame.
feel free to ajust my preset so it can match your taste better .
Installation:
Download the reshade program on reshade.me and install all the effects .( choose opengl when asked )
Drag my Preset( ini file) into the no man sky/binaries folder.
Shift+f2 ingame to load the reshade menu , from there , you can choose my preset ( in the home tab)
My settings ingame , everything max out , fxaa+taa no motion blur, gamma 120
{ i recommend using fxaa+taa for the best results}
Dont hesitate to ask me for special requests , if you want more or less of something , tell me ! i can ajust a preset just for you!
