Mod author, you can use it and claim it as your own mod. its just the version that removes the blue background but leaves in a transparent black background so you can still read it easily.

The "Hide" version of the mod also disables the stamina, jetpack and scanner recharge indicators in my game - faded works fine. This also happens with the other tutorial disabler mod (no more blue tutorial). It seems 1.34 changed something or other on that front because the other mod was hiding tutorials without issue in 1.33 (and I assume this mod probably did as well).
The next version will fix this, basically the new patch put all of those element in the same structure so when we disable it nothing show.
What I'm doing right now is go through all of them, one by one, and put it's opacity to 0 and leave non notification intact. It's a long and boring process and for some reason Hello Game did not think to put them in order.
If you are interested in testing it to see if I've miss something before I release the patch PM me and I'll send you the file... Note that I might have hide some element by error and it need to be tested to be sure everything is good.
Hi. Thank you for this mod. I'm getting CTD on loading shaders even when only this mod is enabled. Also tried to delete shadercache folder- no luck. Any advice? 1.33 I believe
First I installed a handful of mods - got ctd. by removing last added mods one by one I realized it was this mod. Removed all mods, put only this one - ctd. Put all mods back except this one - playing ok. And by telling "on shaders load" I mean during loading save file. The first second of loading screen it ctd's. It just usually says that "shaders loading". But we know that it loads the whole stuff.
Update: tried your UI option from Common traveler - the same. Pity, I am annoyed as hell with this blue notification taking half of my screen sometimes.
I'm having exactly the same experience, but with a completely different mod - Lo2k's No Space Lines. I carried out the same tests as you mentioned to pinpoint the problematic mod. This was prior to installing this mod as well.
Very weird I've not had any issues with this mod.
Just out of curiosity, did you manage to load the game the first time after you installed this mod, and then have it crash after quitting out and restarting?
It didn't let me load my save or start a new game. Just after I press continue - it crashes. The very next moment. So I didn't manage to run it at all. And I didn't try mod you mentioned. But thanks for trying to help. Cheers
Very sorry for disturbing. Looks like there was a problem with updating. Maybe some error weirdly giving issues only with this mod. I was playing few days flawlessly, and only this mod gave me CTD. Weirdest thing. I updated my game one more time and it is running like a charm. Please feel free to delete all this dialogue if you can. Thank you for your mods. They are great. Cheers.
Yep that was already available when I fixed issue. Thank you. When it's black - it is not annoying at all. And yet still there when you need quest info. Perfect combination.
@ vectors85 No I'm on Steam version. I don't have any issues with your mod though, I just thought quazaque was having a similar problem as myself with one of Lo2k's mods

Your file have also been made the official download, until I'm done with the hide version that required update (guess I'll have to start from scratch)

I also can't reproduce the issue, I've try only this mod on 1.33 and 1.34 and got no issue.
And when you remove this mod you don't have any issue, right?

It works great and got no fps loss (instead of an old mod that removes completely it).

I won't delete anything (unless you want me to, at your discretion) since if someone else get in you situation, it might help them solve their issue.
FYI: I've updated the mod to fix the shadow on notification text, you might want to update to get a more clean experience.
