About this mod

Many, many changes made to make the vehicles more fun and responsive. No more getting stuck in a crevasse! No more just using your ship to get around. NEW: A Plant Collision Mod that lets you destroy TREES and LARGE PLANTS.

Permissions and credits
Painstakingly made. Worked really hard getting every vehicle modded just right.

1) Speed increased

2) Boost time greatly increased and recharge greatly decreased

3) Friction increased for tighter turns and increased climbing ability

4) Jump height GREATLY increased, you can now jump from low to high depending on how much you hold the button.

[For the updated version I added even more height. Keep in mind that you can control how high you jump by holding the button.]

5) Scanner recharge decreased to 2 seconds and signal booster decreased to 10  seconds, and BOTH ranges greatly increased.

6) Air control increased. You can control your vehicle while in the air, with "W" "A" "S" and "D".

7) Cut Fuel depletion rate in HALF.

8) Increased the Mounted Guns' fire rate and decreased consumption rate.
 -added to separate [weapons] file

9) Fixed Camera angles for Jumping and also removed auto-centering, as well as tweaked a few other values to match the new settings.

10) Fixed the, which was kinda cool, suspension on the buggy. Now it reacts like the vanilla game and no longer squats when not in use. :(

11) Slightly lowered the Collosus/Truck collision so getting up steep inclines doesn't mean bottoming out anymore. (basically the nose clips a little)

.... and other values balanced accordingly.(also fixed camera angles for jumps, and vehicle FOV's by 5 degrees)

New in V1.2:

12) Vehicle Summon range GREATLY increased, now you can summon your vehicle anywhere on the planet.

13) Camera values adjusted so your range of motion is MUCH smoother, and you can shoot further UP and DOWN

New in V1.2 Weapons file:

14) Increased the Mounted Guns' fire rate (+50%) and decreased consumption rate (-50%)

15) Increased the Mounted Guns' Combat and Mining damages

16) Decreased the Mining Lasers' consumption rate (-50%)

17) Increased the Mining Lasers' Combat and Mining damages

New in ship cockpit FOV fix versions:

18) Added changes found in my cockpit FOV fix found at my Ultimate Low-Flight mod
This pulls the camera back "a bit" during parked, and slow flight, in order to see your dashboard instruments better.

New in V1.21:

Adjusted values for smoother traversing underwater.

Updates:

08/16/2017:
Updated the optional file Vehicle Plant Collisions mod for Atlas Rises

Added new file:
It re-introduces the camera features to my Ultimate Vehicle Mod:

Camera values adjusted so your range of motion is MUCH smoother, and you can shoot further UP and DOWN.
Adjustments made to compensate for camera angles when jumping. Camera distances also adjusted for
each vehicle, as well as a few other minor adjustments. Modifies GCCAMERAGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN
And added a file that removes vehicle crash camera shake. Modifies PLANETEFFECTS.MBIN

It's a separate download. So you can choose to use it, or not.
(The new camera file has one minor bug, upon entering a vehicle, the camera starts off ABOVE the vehicle (looking down).
This will be present until the MBINcompiler is up to date)

08/15/2017:
 V1.21 for Atlas Rises V1.3:
 Initial release for Atlas Rises.
The GCCAMERAGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN file has been removed until the MBINcompiler is up to date.
You will notice camera shake, odd angles/views, and you cannot aim up down far, for now.
Two Versions Only: Regular Mod, and one with Buffed Weapons.

07/28/2017:
V1.2: Fixed the camera so it doesn't react "funny" when colliding with near objects. Also fixed camera movement, and up/down ranges. Balance a few values like jump and speeds. And created a few new versions:

The same as V1.2, with:
-1a   has the ship cockpit FOV fix
-1b   has all vehicle weapons buffed.
-1ba  has all vehicle weapons buffed and the ship cockpit FOV fix.

07/13/2017:
V.1.1: The Roamer/Buggy, Nomad/Bike, and Colossus/Truck are now ALL fully modded and AWESOME. Forget what you know about NMS vehicles and try this mod for a completely different experience than the vanilla game.

07/13/2017:
Added Optional Mod:
Added a completely new mod as a separate download. Now all those annoying "Carbon" based plants will no longer slow you down. Download my new Vehicle Plant Collisions mod, and you can now destroy them just as you would any other obstruction that the vehicle destroys.

(Spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to make MOST objects either have no collision, or be destroyed. But the game/coding had other ideas)

All values modified using NO boost/engine upgrades.
The first vanilla Sigma (+1) Boost Upgrade increases the Boost SPEED x2.
The second vanilla Tau (+2) Boost Upgrade increased the Boost TIME x2.

So if the boost is too fast consider removing the +1 Sigma upgrade. And if Boost is too long remove +2 Tau upgrade.

And I'm not 100% sure what the third does (or if there is a third?). In the NMS_REALITY_GCTECHNOLOGYTABLE.MBIN file there's  a reference to a third but it looks like it would only increase TIME, if anything (it's bonus is set to 1, which wouldn't do anything, I believe).

Consider checking out another mod of mine for easily building Exocraft Bays:

Easy Common Build-ables and Duplicate Storage Containers

File Info:
Main Mod: Modifies the file GCVEHICLEGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN (from Update v1.24) and GCCAMERAGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN, so it won't be compatible with any other mod that also modifies those files.

Plant Collision Mod: Modifies files from METADATA\SIMULATION\SOLARSYSTEM\BIOMES. This file modifies ALL Biomes files, such as: LUSHOBJECTSLOW.MBINLUSHOBJECTSMID.MBIN, and LUSHOBJECTSFULL.MBIN. For each of the different Biomes (Barren, Frozen, Lush, Radioactive, Scorched, and Toxic) One mod that I know conflicts is: Shaidak's Generation, which uses the LUSH files.

Anybody using my Selective Camera Shake Mod, this mod already has the pulse shake fix and the large animal shake removed included (accidentally, whoops). Don't think anybody will complain about it though. :)

 OLD:
For the first release I've added modified values to the Bike and the Truck as well. But I haven't unlocked the blueprints just yet, so their
values are just "placeholder" values until I get a chance to update them. I used percentages to mod their values. (if that makes sense)

As an optional choice, in case the Bike and/or Truck isn't to your liking, I added an optional download of JUST the modded Buggy/ExoCraft with vanilla values for the Bike and Truck. But jump height, and scanner times are shared values.
