This mod changes just 2 textures to make freighters mostly white. It works with the latest version of the game and should be backwards compatible.  It only changes 2 textures labeled paint to change the color of all freighters from my testing.  was planning on doing the exterior of large structures in space too but i cant find the right file to change the outside of stations.  will continue my search for those.
