Pirate freighter battles appear more often or after every warp.
With the "Always" option, there will always be a battle after warping into a system (Black Hole, Atlas Interface and Uncharted systems do not work!).
With the "More" option, these chances apply, based on economy:
Poor: 20%
Medium: 30%
Rich: 40%
Pirate: 50%
You must own a freighter in order to get pirate freighters to spawn.
Note: You may still occasionally get a normal space battle, even with the "Always" version. This will be exceptionally rare though, approximately once in 1 million years. If that happens, just do that one battle, everything afterwards will be a pirate battle again. With the "More" option, this will happen more frequently, since it doesn't disable normal freighter battles.
