As we all know, exploration gets boring after you've seen a hundred planets or so. Biome diversity is lacking, its why you see a lot of awesome biome generation mods on the nexus. FFPG Reborn aims to fix this lack of variety.

FFPG Reborn is a mod that redefines how biomes work in No Man's Sky. Instead of having a predefined list of objects that can be used, blended, or included in a biome, each and every object now has the potential to appear dynamically and intelligently. When entering a planets' atmosphere, a biome will be generated and this biome is unique to that planet only. This essentially creates infinite variety.  Moreover, it also edits each and every object's limits (think min max scales, angles) to give a more pleasant visual look. 


The mod is completely generated by the FFPG Generator framework, having the base NMS object lists as input. The tool is still in development but I plan to release it soon with addon functionality, so that custom objects can also be loaded alongside base NMS objects. 

Mod is still in alpha, consider bugs.

Features:
  • Layered generation for Caves, Mountain, Underwater and Base tiletypes
  • Intelligent delimiting relative to original limits
  • Object limiting done by probability, so fuller and lesser planets may exist
  • Planets do not have their prefixes anymore (Verdant, Acidic, etc.), instead they have a celestial body class, since anything could be on them.

I highly recommend using WoodyMontana's Better Terrain & Alien Terrain in conjuction, its what I currently use, and what you'll see in my screenshots
