It has always bothered me that the Mining Bore on the Minotaur runs out of fuel so quickly that I don't consider it worth using due to the tedium of constant re-fueling. It hardly makes sense that a giant, mechanical weapons platform is less capable of this task than a hand-held pistol...
This mod rectifies that by increasing the fuel capacity of the Mining Bore by 500%, making it 66% better than the hand-held terrain manipulator. Refueling cost has been left unaltered, such that it is also 500% more fuel efficient. The included lua file allows editing of both of these values for any user with a different 'vision' of fuel capacity vs. efficiency.
Modifies game file: "METADATA/REALITY/TABLES/NMS_REALITY_GCTECHNOLOGYTABLE.MBIN" so is not compatible with any other mod which changes this file.
LUA file included for users who wish to build their own combined mod with AMUMSS for compatibility.
For Game Version Cursed 5.22
No update to this mod is required for game version 5.29.
Note, that as of Orbital update 4.64, Hello Games has increased the same parameters of the Minotaur Mining Bore as what this mod does. This mod is now a rather minimal increase compared to base game values. Users may want to consider ditching the mod entirely for that reason.
