Jet Pack Boost mod for the Parasailer in you.
Boost mod for getting there, getting away, bringing the fight. Fly low or fly high and glide like a boss with parasail like feeling.
This is a Patch mod and should work well with other Patch and Replacement mods.

Installation:
1.Copy the unzipped contents directly to the following directory @
No Man's Sky\GAMEDATA\MODS
Where is that?
\Steam\steamapps\common\No Man's Sky\GAMEDATA\MODS
Find a No Man's Sky shortcut, Right Click > Open File Location
If you don't have a "MODS" Folder one must be created.
Unzip the downloaded file and drag the content to the \GAMEDATA\MODS\ folder
Once dragged should look like this:
\Steam\steamapps\common\No Man's Sky\GAMEDATA\MODS\BoostGlider
\Steam\steamapps\common\No Man's Sky\GAMEDATA\MODS\_MOD.ST.Binoculars.ThinV5.52
Only one of the following:

Expounding on Keymapping from the comments section: of compatible controllers to allow Hover(ish), and Interact. Dual usage w Right Button and Left Trigger.
By default the Right button is for 'Melee Attack' and sub 'Increase Beam Size'. I've added a second command to map 'Jump'.
Set Up:
Configure Gamepad via Steam.
Edit your layout
Action Set (On Foot)
Bumpers ~ RB ~ Melee Attack ~ Add Extra Command
Select (JUMP)
Click the Cog ~ Settings ~Configure key press for Regular Press (Turbo ~ Enable Hold To Repeat Turbo ~ Default values)
Back out save your new setting to a templet and export with a unique name.
By default the Left Trigger is set for Analysis on a Soft Pull. I've set up a second command for Full Pull to be 'Interact' (Interact is X on a Xbox and Compatible). *Remember NMS settings allow one to scan in auto mode also.
Ever fall off a Frigate you repaired while on mission..? Call in your Freighter and speed dial the O2.
You'll get the hang of sputterflying and harvesting with minimal time on ground.

The compounded actions allows one to hold the Analysis Trigger/(Interact) and the Melee Button/(jump/sputtering) that results in collect while hovering simultaneously. You'll also notice the buried Salvage date can be Ninja'd via the Analysis Viewer too. Basically anything, Learning Stones, Laylaps, Spaceship, critters, harvestable, debris! You'll learn the spacing needed to not jump in your ship while analyzing it. You might even put Laylaps back in your inventory after the 2 time they let you know how much fun this is. /smh Beep Boop Bye!
