In Blender, check if normals are pointing outwards by turning on Normal view:
If the spiky lines point outwards, the the faces are showing in the proper directions. Otherwise, ?switch to Mesh Mode, select all mesh, and flip the normals:
I wanted to edit the textu?re files but something went wrong... I edited them with Photoshop and exported them with the NVIDIA Texture tool exporter and this was the result. I used the compiler and made the pak and copied it to the correct folder after deleting the original mod. I kept everything the same.
1. It's advised that the texture is saved in either BC3 or BC7 for diffuse and masks textures, I use BC3 for the face
2. Both the file name and the file extension must be capitalised in all files and correctly linked in the material (whiteness often indicates the game can't find the texture), if you replaced the texture with a direct overwrite then the latter isn't an issue
