This mod changes storm frequency and length. There are four choices: none, fewer, more, or unpredictable. The first three are self-explanatory. Unpredictable greatly increases the range of possible time between storms and storm length, so storms are more varied and interesting. I like unpredictable, but most people want fewer.
Use Vortex or manually put the entire contents of the zip file in your GAMEDATA\MODS folder, not PCBANKS, similar to this:
