Could you redo the starship icon? The one when looking at it right next to you.. it's really bad compared to all the others. Maybe do a cleaner one of the vanilla icon. It's the white shape around the ship icon that really bothers me. It's so big.
All right, I think I get it: you meant the little marker, the ground waypoint that appears while scanning the building to make an eventual return to it easy. Right?
Anyway, I wasn't satisfied with the first version of the buildings icons because I made them in the hurry to deliver something for you guys but I'm redoing them at the moment and I'll join that little marker too, thanks for pointing this. If you were talking about something different then post that picture for I figure it out o/
- in the NVidia control panel: note that my screen resolution is normally 1920*1200 (16:10) but I play the game in 16:9 with a custom resolution of 3120*1755 and I set the Anisotropic Filtering at x16 for MNS.exe
I made the building and all the other icons: you can download the archive in the optional files below the main download. These of course need some testing as I didn't have the time to test them yet so tell me what needs to be done guys.
(If you're using a mod to hide some icons or show them only when using binoculars, make sure to place it after any icon pack in the alphabetic order. You can rewrite the _MOD at the beginning of the file name to _zMOD for example.)
This is quite a nice job you done, and maybe more convenient that hiding totally the icons using the mod "Use the binoculars" (which I created) especially for navigation purposes while using the spaceship. Fact is I was just planing to create it today in response to the flight navigation problem. Good job, got to try it, right now ;o)
Well I just tested it and seems that loading _MOD.LessIntrusiveBuildingIcons, _MOD.UseBinoc, _MOD.zLessIntrusiveScanIcons (renamed for loading order purpose) is a really good trade to me, thanks again.
I uploaded a version to apply after your mod Satchelite (with space station icons). Also I took the freedom to quote your loading sequence in the main description of this mod.

Maybe you should ask to the guy who made Clean Icons, stylized and colorful as what you wish is more close to his work than mine. Good luck o/

I'm not an expert at all and I just read that topic: Graphics_optimization and created a custom resolution following that guide: Downsampling – A full guide to achieve 3840x2160 resolution – NVIDIA only
Hope this will answer to your question.

Would be cool if you could make icons for buildings & locations as well though. In the same style of course.
thank you very much for that first endorsement
I wish you 96 slots o/
Building icons would be perfect!
