So, I encountered this as well, but it turned out that I just hadn't gone far enough in my Steam save file for it to read it properly. Once I completely fixed my ship and landed on a new planet it resolved this problem. Not sure if it's a similar issue for you, but I hope it helps!
Nomnom requires another update, on the 27th of March we received the massive Orbital update, bringing ship customization and overhauled space stations to the game. It brings ship customization in the form of building entirely new ships with custom parts. Each part has it's own ID and they're several dozens of them. So yea, lots of content to add.
Good day. When I open NomNom I was first greeted by a long blank welcome screen. After that I can't set my platform (even in settings) or save location, nothing in the app works for me. Is there any way I can fix it possibly?
I've unlocked all the expedition rewards and kept two ships unclaimed but after some time I noticed that they got claimed automatically for some reason in the "Quicksilver Synthesis Companion" section and when I try to toggle it off so the reward will be unclaimed in game it gives me an exclamation mark how can I fix this and have the reward unclaimed? (help pls)
(Basically is it possible to unclaim the reward so I can claim it again?)
I'll still update here as well but as the first two Omega releases were not complete (marked as pre-release on GitHub for that reason) I didn't update here.
Omega updates compatible version is finally available here as well! Also includes support for Microsoft platform saves created with 4.52 and up as well as many bug fixes.
I've been using a couple different save editors for years in NMS, on Steam and GOG [one was a gift], and it has been fine. I like to play Solo, so I turn off the Network Multiplayer (I don't see anyone in the Anomaly), so that could contribute to it; but I've used save editors for a long time and no problems, if that helps.

everytime i try to tranfer my PC gamepass save, the program crashes whenever i try to click a save slot on the steam side.
Am i the only one having this issue?

You have to get it from Github now. He doesn't update it here anymore.
