In theory these two mods should be incompatible and Relight should override this mod and cause it to display incorrectly due to load order from the MODS folder, however in practice that doesn't happen and Space Station Revamp loads exactly as it should and works fine and because this mod only makes changes to the space station all the other things elsewhere in the game that Relight modifies will work as well. It should also be incompatible with JJs Bridge too but that also seems to work fine. It's a bit of a mystery and I'm about to contact Lo2k to see if he has any idea why this happens but the short answer to your question is to just use them together and ignore any conflicts and you won't have any problems.
LOVE this mod! After having done a bazillion playthroughs, the space station(s) interiors gets soooo monotonous...this mod brings new/better life to the space stations with a change in scenery!
I really wish HG thought of making space stations with more design variety, or at the very least, have each race have their own space station designs.
Thanks, I don't know if you are aware but HG have made some new exteriors for the space stations that were inactive in the game files after an update a while back, they have since been removed but I would be very surprised if they didn't make it into the game at some point in the future and hopefully they will maybe give the interior a badly needed redesign as well.
Yeah I heard about the exteriors from one of the past updates, but after doing that (didn't someone make a mod using those exteriors, I can't remember, lol), I'm surprised they didn't also do the interiors, as we are more often looking at that, than the exteriors, hehe.
Phenomenal job, I love the white look. Not a huge fan of screaming yellow floors though, as it feels like it does not fit but all of the other stations look fantastic!
Thanks, glad you like it, the floors will always be whatever colour the outside of the space station is and are procedurally generated, some can look good and yes some can look terrible !
I totally didn't notice they match the outside color lol, now I know what to expect :D White floors look definitely the best imo, once again, beautiful alien look of the station. No more NPCs lurking in the darkness lol
I only have this Mod and the Space Station Interior Fix installed, but when I go in a new creative save to test it out, I don't see the Space Station Icon, which in return means the auto navigation during the pulse drive does not work and when I manually fly into the Space Station it's mostly empty and upon exiting my ship, I'm falling through.
Yes it seems the Echoes update has broken this mod very badly, please don't try to use it until it has been updated for Echoes, I've been busy and haven't had much time to check and update mods until now. Were you able to reload a restore point save to fix your game ? I will try to update this mod right now but it is a very large mod with a lot of files and I don't know how much work it may need until I go through and check everything so it may take a while. It's always safest after these large updates like Echoes to only use mods that have been updated or check with the mod authors first if they still work or if they have updated their mods description pages to say so. Thanks for letting me know. JJ
Whew, am I relieve to see this mod does still work. I thought it was broken for good. While I was waiting for it to be updated, I took the mod out because like Neonsy said, the icon wasn't showing, and when I went into the station, before I even pass through the blue beam, I could see inside the entrance as the texture wasn't even loaded. I was still able to see the stars and everything. I didn't get out of my ship because I knew what would happen so I just flew back out of the station. After I exit the game, I decided to browse for some other mods and I came across Space Station Type B - exterior model replacer and wanted to add that along with this Revamp if this was to ever be updated until I read the comments and saw that HG has removed the Space Station Models, then I thought because of that, this mod might have been broken for good. So yeah, I'm so relieve that this does still work because i just can't go back to the old station. This mod of yours is amazing and awesome, it's a must have for me. Thank you for creating such a wonderful interior.
Thanks, glad you like it and yes you made the right decision not to get out of your ship ! I was a bit surprised myself at how much was missing and thought it probably was either going to be the end for this mod or a ton of work to salvage it but fortunately things weren't as bad as I feared. I would be surprised if those type b exteriors didn't become part of the game at some point and weather or not the interior gets a complete change as well is an unknown but I will always try to keep this mod working while it's possible. JJ
It does ? Thanks for letting me know, I'm about to start checking my mods this evening and even if this works I'll still check it and update if needed. Glad you like it. JJ
Do you mean the little terminal that was in the center up the small ramp at the back ? It's gone along with all the other crap that was behind it. Did it serve any useful purpose ? I haven't actually played NMS since before that was added and It didn't seem to be important but I can maybe add it back somewhere if it has some use.
Yeah, without the core terminal there is no way to enter a forged passport which is a mission associated to pirate stuff. Also, the forged passport is an ongoing mechanic of the game to clear your name if you are a pirate.
A Forged Passport isn't exactly what it sounds like, as it won't allow players to access any new locations in the No Man's Sky Outlaws update. Instead, a Forged Passport redeems a traveler's reputation with the species they have wrong throughout their malicious adventures.
