Did you ever dream of your ship becoming a mobile operation base ? This mod is bringing you closer to that desire !
This mod makes some panel buttons functional in VR.Activation of the buttons works purely by distance so you don't even need to press a controller button at all. You need to actively grab/click the buttons. Auto grab isn't wokring anymore due to a NMS internal bug reported to HelloGames already. It's working very natural, hand animations included of course.
The following button functions are currently implemented (also see the pictures):
Toggle headlights (known from VR ship headlight mod)
Scan nearest building
Get a new procedural mission
Freighter inventory transfer (only 1.0)
Savegame in ship function (1.1 and above)
The mod comes in 3 different version:
This mod is a work in progress. Right now only the hauler/dropship has the hand position to button perfectly alligned. All other ship types also have 3-4 button/display interactions but not yet perfectly alligned but it's still working. Important: As a backup solution all ship types have their left exit handles as the headlights toggle for the RIGHT hand and the right exit handle to trigger the building scan mode for the LEFT hand. So it is exactly reverse to not activate coincidentally. So to sum up there are 6 new interactions possible in your ship !
There is an optional compatibility version for VR hand commands mod too.

- VERSION 2 - w. VR hand commands mod
- VERSION 3 - LIGHT: Only with headlight toogle and inship savegame fucntions. VR Hand Commands only with savegame (close hand left right left) - for survival and normal gamemode players that don't want any advantage. No auto grab in this version
