Hey, I've never posted on this site for any game before but I was wondering if it's at all possible to get a version of this mod to show icons on the binoculars while the HUD is disabled. I want to play like that but it's not very practical without it.
Hey, check the file names in description...you have _MOD.zUseBinoc_NoCircle_v96.pak listed twice, where I think it should include a _MOD.zUseBinoc_v96.pak option?

The smaller icons combined with the use of optics makes for much more beautiful visuals, and more immersive game-play for me. I also use 'Less Buildings50%' mod, so locating landing pads is a priority, but I don't want every '?' thrust in my face as fewer building means most '?' are not bases. Your mod encourages proper exploration and navigation by using subtle visual signals and eyesight.
I'm confused about how this will work when a building/ruins/etc are detected from space, and how we will fly to them. But obviously in time you will bring some improvements.
Thanks for the support, I use the less Buildings mod also in one of my saved game ;o) I wish I could find a way to use the visor in flight, that would be neat, like you would do if you wanted some info to be projected on the cockpit window. Or just any shortcut to toggle the icons on and off.
Stick with it and you'll get there. Its only a matter of time, determination and trial & error!
