What this mod does:
This mod makes your multi-tool's mining laser mine faster. Harvest mounds and deposits in less than a minute. Gather iron from rocks and carbon from trees in seconds. Less overheat, longer time before you need to stop mining
Note :
I never did a mod before, but I used "Faster Mining - Less Overheat - Flavors (Atlas Rises only)"mod and it doesn't work anymore with Beyond release.
So, based on this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/598), I try to do my own one.
I can not assure you that my mod do exactly the same than the one indicated above, but I tested it and it does the job :)
Bug :
None so far, but if you see something wrong let me know.
Compatibility:
This mod edits NMS_REALITY_GCTECHNOLOGYTABLE
Tested on both vanilla and a heavily modded game.
Not compatible with mods that changes mining speed, including such edits found in big overhauls.
Not compatible with "Reduced Launch Cost 1.2 for Beyond" https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/50

I based my work on the mod of ShadowJasmine, so it's not plagiarism but a solution until its mod is updated
