    New to game, mod seems to be working, but where is my ship? No HUD icon for it's location...help please.

    Using Free Explore version, fyi.

    With all honesty,this is the best and important mod for NMS,Realy nobody,who return to the game want to play Chapter 1 again..i think 1 time to play that tutorial is enoght...Developers of the game should make optional that part of the game,and i still wonder why they dont do it yet..

    This mod seems to disable storms in planets. Any chance you can fix that? Either way, this is a great mod for second playthroughs.

      The mod shouldn't affect that. I can't confirm but it's possible the starting system, or at least starting planet, are normally scripted to have low storm frequency though. In testing my starting systems always seemed to have paradise only lush planets but after warping there were lush planets with extreme weather and aggressive sentinels.

    Guessing still need Quick Start if your using Free Explore, given that Quick Start is 87kb and free explore is only 9kb.

      No you don't, but beware you need to manually add to your savefile the Creature Pellet consumable because it's missing.

      Free Explore version is smaller because it doesn't need to modify the story mission file to skip ahead.

    Submitted a bug: it seems you can't craft Pet Pellets from the inventory with Quick Start - Free Explore.
    You can however craft the recipe in the Nutrient Processor.

      Thank you, mod has been updated to correct this. Existing save files before this version should also receive the recipe upon loading.

    I also had a problem with the ship not being visible. I ran around for ~30 minutes until I salvaged a completely different ship, which gave me the needed blueprints to build a base. I flew around in my new ship to find the starter ship, but no luck. At least I'm not stuck.

    Strangely, I found that more immersive, but I can imagine others may find it frustrating.
