    The specific combination of ship parts you have on that fighter is really fantastic. I've never actually seen one quite like it.

      That's because you're not using the same mod he is. I suspect that's part of redmas' "NEXT Big Adventure" mod. It's not a vanilla design. Using Sylvester Spaceman's terminology, that's a Parabola X fuselage with Atlas engines, Razor fin, and E-wings with Swordfish boosters, but vanilla Swordfishes don't have rear ends that extend past the Atlas engines like that.
