Strange old world... you could say about our world. (-;
How true: you are so right; ours is a strange old world. Perhaps the only living one in the Milky Way, so improbable, so beautiful, and so terrible at the same time.
Also frightening: the air is unbreathable more than seven kilometers up from ground level, and seven kilometers down, the rocks are a scorching, melting goo. All around the world, we could not survive unaided, even though these vertical distances are less than anyone's trip to their nearest neighboring town. Sobering thought.
