There is no way to give this chip in a current save?

    Hi There,

Trying to get your mod to work but I keep getting the error, GameData.bat not found in this directory.  I've followed the instructions, are there any other dependancies we need to install?

Hi there. GameData.dat can be generated by the game. please launch the game once, at menu screen you can exit. then open the bundled .exe and proceed with it instruction !

      Thanks for the reply.

I loaded the game and the GameData.dat file appears in my save game window.
I Open the .exe file (the one from your mod) and it goes to the run window asking, shall we continue?
It also renames the GameData.dat file to savemod_GameData.dat and the same prompt loops endlessly as it can no longer find the GameData.dat file, I guess.
A new savefile doesn't appear., and there are no changes to my existing save files (ie. no chips or outfits)

With the game OPEN and the .exe file provided RUNNING, rename the savemod_GameData.dat to GameData.dat and continue (enter) in the provided exe. Done.  It will say it changed the files and now you can either start a new game or continue that all the items will be in the inventory (Key items)

Ahh, that did the trick.  I realised I was starting from the menu select and not the start screen and that seemed to make a difference.  Thanks for the tips.

Well, now I bumped into another issue which is hilarious ...
I don't have the items anymore so I cannot take the outfit off LMAO
Seems you need to run this mod each time you want to put/remove one outfit

hi Pheam tks for helping SurfingKoala35 with the savefile

also, now that I remember, after the prologue, your character will lose all items collected including the outfits. -> you can retrieve the items later but adding outfit after that point automatically is not possible on my end.

sorry about that, I will update this mod details to be adding auto collect chips only

So, I am stuck with her outfit? damn I wanted her back to the original Yohra outfit T.T
The outfit is great and all but loses a little immersion.

you can use this tool to re-add the outfit manually after that !

GitHub - MysteryDash/NieR.Automata.Editor: A simple yet effective NieR: Automata save editor.

the item you will be looking for is "revealing outfits" on the inventory tab !
