Version 1.0-beta
Creation of said mysterious hat
The hat comes from a character belonging to the Monogatari Series (Yotsugi Ononoki), however it carries no significance. If you watch the show or have already watched the show, you might have the desire to put it on the player.
I'm not sure why I made this or when the idea came to mind, but it suddenly happened over the course of the past two days. All I know is that I'm happy that there's literally anything to replace that ugly alien head. Who would put 2B through the shame of wearing that monstrocity?
This mod would not be possible without Woeful's modding tools & the help of the amazing NieR Automata Modding Discord: https://discord.gg/JEwMrXp
The entire model was sculpted & textured by me. If you are able to zoom in on the hat, or use the NieR Camera to get a closer look, you will notice more texture & details.
Installation instructions:
1. Download the mod (unfortunately)
2. Go to your game's directory \NieR - Automata\data\et (if you don't know your game's directory, you can right click on the icon, then click "open file location)
3. Unzip the folder in here (create a et folder if you don't have one)
4. Play the game (equip the alien mask)
An update may arrive that allows the little knot on the top to move around according to player movements, it was already supposed to be implemented but it appears that the intensity isn't enough atm.
