About
I recently got back into Nier:Automata and decided to make a Reshade for this game as well.
After working on this for a bit, I came up with a certain look for the game that I really like, so I thought I'd share it with you.

But Alex, what's so special about this?
Well, it reveals way more detail on most objects and characters due to the sharpening. You can check the screenshot with the teleporter for example.

It also adjusts the lightsources and items you can pick up to glow more without overdoing it.

Another nice thing that I thought was kinda missing is Motion Blur and Border to take screenshots.
You can easily uncheck those if you don't like them, but I've overall adjusted this to be used for normal gameplay.

Available Presets
There are 2 versions available. High and Ultra.

The High preset gives me about 7-10% more usage on my GTX1080.

The Ultra preset (which is the one I'm personally using) gives me about 13-16% more usage.

A lot of headroom is still there, but overall the difference from High to Ultra is that High still looks great, but Ultra just boosts the lights to be a bit different.
You can Install both of them and see which one you like more or runs better or worse on your computer. Just rename them to have them at the same time in the folder.

Installation
Basically this is a normal Preset. For you people who already know how this all works, there's nothing more down here. You can just install it and hop in-game and have fun.

Now for those of us who require some assistance, I've made a guide for you to prevent any frustration.

(Bear with me, I don't wanna remove my waifu wallpaper. lmao)

Installation Guide
Okay, so first things first. Go ahead and download Reshade from here: https://reshade.me/
Next up, run it and you will see this window. Click on ''Select game to install to or uninstall from.''

Here you can browse to your Nier:Automata game installation folder.
Select the ''NierAutomata.exe'' file.

After that's selected, you can click on Direct3D 10+ since the game uses DirectX11.

Now it's gonna ask if we want to install any effects. Click yes.

Here are the effects you will need to use my preset.
I don't recommend you just install all in the list since that will result in a longer wait time loading up the game because it has to load all the effects.

After selecting them, hit OK.
If everything worked correctly, you can see that it says Working on Nier:Automata... Succeded!

Now we can slam our Preset in here.

Time to go in-game. You can open the Reshade overlay by pressing the Home button. In my case, I'm using a german keyboard so it's Pos1 for whatever reason. Worry not, we can change the keybind later. I'll show you where in a second.

After going through the tutorial, we now have this box in the top. You can click on that arrow on the right side and then select my preset.

Finally, you can change the keybinds in the Settings tab.
I personally use Shift F2 to open it and Shift F12 to toggle the effect on and off since I've been using ENBs for a long time in TES5 Skyrim. lol

Hint: You can also turn on things like Show Clock, Show FPS and Show Frame Time.
This can be customized; like the color and opacity in the settings below.

And that's it. That's how you do it. Now have fun in-game and if you've got any issues, leave me a comment. I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Compatiblity
For Fullscreen fix users, in order to use this with the normal resolution fix for Nier: Automata, you can rename the Reshade dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll and then put the dxgi.dll (which is the resolution fix) in your game installation folder where the NierAutomata.exe is located.
(Dunno about the link anymore though.)

Shoutout to mohal for finding it. Download Link (Click me and drag me where the game .exe is.)

For F.A.R. users, I unfortunately can't provide support since the Reshade Installation is completely different from usual as far as I remember.

Something Else
Maybe check out my profile for TES5 Skyim mods or Fallout 4 ones. I've also uploaded a Reshade Preset for Dark Souls 3, The Witcher 3 and Skyim Special Edition.

Thanks for downloading and let's all delete our saves again to help each other. cough
