   Looks great! Though, to be accurate, there should be a blinding white flash at the moment of detonation, followed by silence as the sound takes time to reach us, then a CRASH of sound with screen shake and stagger. I'd suggest looking up the clip from Oppenheimer.
   
   Granted, I've never actually got very far in F:NV (restartitis), so I don't know how it does it in the original game. I think Megaton from FO3 was about the same as this, right? It's just that with the recent movie all about them, it'd feel great to really bring the blast to life.

      I actually like it, its 2d but the physics is good, smoke is physics based and engulfs the player if close. so good dramatic effects

      fair enough, im personally been spoiled by fallout 4 nuke effect from the intro so the f3/fnv one looks bad to me.

      The true ending is the boomers carpet bomb the dam and it breaks and everyone gets confused and goes home

      if the dam can endure a carpet bomb without breaking, it can immersively take a direct hit from a nuclear war head without breaking immersively . gonna bake it now see how it would look.

      lmao - u can see in the end credits of the first season a crashed NCR vertibird on the strip so it might be safe from a nuke . but never know might be a ruse.
