My biggest mod to date. This is one of myriad ways fighting may look if using my newest mod, Custom Health & AP Visuals, which is the fourth of what will probably be five modules in my anti-HUD mod series, Post-HUD World.
Screen blood is optional, with configurable intensity. Blur, double vision, and similar effects are turned off in this video (the double vision you will see is the vanilla game's concussion effects).
AP effects are optional; configurable in their colour, animation type, speed, and intensity; and come in 7 14-frame styles, with support for up to 3 custom ones with any number of animation frames you desire. This video features the TV Static effect, set to inherit the HUD colour but with the brightness turned down to under half. You can choose from that, Old FIlm, Light Rays, Scanlines (with or without flickering), and three variants of an Ink style.
It's not released at the time of uploading this, so track me here if you're suuuuuuper interested (no pressure).
Fun fact: There's almost no chance that Romans/gladiators/whoever regularly said the Latin phrase in this video, which has become fairly iconic and associated with Ancient Rome. It was recorded for just one occurrence in all of Roman history. But it's kind of cool, so I used it.
