- Changelogs
For use with Tale of Two Wastelands.
Notable Features:
Weapon Integration:
- Many weapons from both games and their corresponding DLCs have been integrated in a lore-friendly manner into The Capital Wasteland and The Mojave, either it be on vendors, enemies, or other random NPCs.
- Weapons that are closely relative to The Capital Wasteland or The Mojave have doubled chances of spawning depending on their location, such as Assault Rifles having a doubled chance of spawning in The Capital Wasteland and Service Rifles having a doubled chance of spawning in The Mojave.
- Cowboy weapons in The Capital Wasteland only appear on Regulators (with the exception of the Lever-Action Shotgun) and vendors, as many of them do not fit the aesthetic of The Capital Wasteland.
- Viper Gunslingers now utilize a lot more cowboy-style firearms. They are gunslingers after all.
- Jackal Gang Members now utilize more weapons fit for raiders.
- DC Raiders have more early/mid game ranged, melee, unarmed, and explosive weapons in their arsenal.
- DC Raider's access to energy-style weapons is VERY limited due to factors such as cost, maintenance, and availability. The only energy weapons the DC Raiders use are Laser Pistols and Laser Rifles (they do not use energy weapons in the base game or TTW) due to both those weapons being more plentiful in DC.
- Talon Company have more mid/late game ranged, melee, unarmed, and explosive weapons in their arsenal.
- Enclave Soldiers that do not wear Tesla Armor now have limited access to mid/late game ballistic weapons that fit their aesthetic. Late game Enclave Soldiers also use the Red Glare Rocket Launcher and the Shoulder Mounted Machine Gun.
- NCR Troopers have had significant changes to their weapons, making them feel more like standard-issue. They now mainly utilize Service Rifles and 9mm Submachine Guns, but can also rarely be seen equipped with Assault Rifles, 10mm Submachine Guns, and Combat Shotguns. They use lower-grade weapons in Primm. NCR Military Police now strictly use 9mm Pistols and 10mm Pistols as a sidearm. NCR Troopers also come equipped with Combat Knives.
- NCR Heavy Troopers now have access to more heavy weaponry and energy weapons that were looted after the NCR-Brotherhood War.
- Legionaries now have more weapons to choose from, including stolen NCR weapons.
- Lobotomites have access to weapons that are more fitting for the previous military and security forces present at the Big Mt. Research Facility, and have had their wastelander weapons removed.
- Marked Men now have a wider variety of weapons that are featured in both Legion and NCR.
Armor Integration:
- Many armors from New Vegas and its DLCs, as well as armor added by Tale of Two Wastelands itself, have been added to DC vendors or DC loot. Including Riot Gear, Non-NCR Salvaged Power Armor, Security Armor, Reinforced Armors, US Army Combat Armor, and more.
- DC Raiders now have access to armor variants added by The Pitt. All armor sets have been rebalanced to have the same stats as normal Raider Armor. Pitt Raiders also have access to normal Raider Armor now. Fiends and Jackals also utilize these armors.
- DC Raiders now have access to Combat Armor at later levels.
- DC Raiders now have access to a wider variety of hats and helmets.
- Viper Gunslingers now have a chance to wear Cowboy Hats.
- Jackal Gang Members now appropriately utilize Raider Armor alongside their Wastelander Clothing.
- Marked Men now rarely have access to US Army Combat Armor, Non-NCR Salvaged Power Armor, and Riot Gear. They also have access to wider variety of helmets.
Consumable Integration:
- Many consumables from DLCs and TTW have been integrated and comply with lore restrictions, so You won't be finding Healing Powder/Poultice or Gecko Kebabs in DC.
- Legion Get access to a multitude of tribal-themed consumables, many of which are from Honest Hearts.
Fixes:
- Fixed Brotherhood of Steel members that spawn with a Combat Shotgun not having ammo.
- Fixed an instance of a Viper Gunslinger not having a weapon.
- Many other leveled list consistency edits.
Future Patches:
- Patch for NS Weapons All in One TTW Version.
Recommendations:
- TTW Merchant Supply Extension pairs very well with this mod making merchants feel more like New Vegas merchants in terms of their available supplies.
Conclusion:
This mod was about 7 months in the making, and is what I would consider to be my Magnum Opus.
I mainly made this mod for myself or any other Vanilla+ TTW Modder. Let me know if you find any bugs.
I hope you enjoy and thank you for downloading!
