About this mod
A Smoke Before the Storm has some great animations for when you wanna roleplay as a smoking cowboy in the Mojave, or any other character that smokes for that matter. However I found the more technical side of it to be a bit lacking. So with some help with my buddy FinalCatalyst, I added some QOL features to the mod.

What this mod adds/changes:
Changes the balancing of the ingestible cigarette to more line up with what makes sense to me and feels right for balancing.

Adds a script to the vanilla Misc Item Cigarette01 to convert it to the ingestible form when added to the players inventory.
Adds an unpacking script for cigarette packs and cartons that allows you to unpack them via the inventory menu and randomizes the amount you receive (figuring some go bad over time).The script first rolls a 1–10. If the result is less than your Luck stat, a Luck bonus of 1–3 is generated.
Next, the script calculates your Survival bonus (+3 at 50 Survival).
For packs, the script rolls another 1–10 and adds your Luck and Survival bonuses. The result is the number of cigarettes you receive.
For cartons, it re-rolls the Luck check to give you another chance at an additional 1–3 Luck bonus, then multiplies your previously calculated Survival bonus by 3 (+9 at 50 Survival).
Finally, the script rolls a 1–40 and adds the updated bonuses to determine the total number of cigarettes from a carton.
Installation:
Install the original a Smoke before the Storm and all it's dependencies.
Install this mod to overwrite the original.

Compatibility:
This is untested with other mods that let you smoke cigarettes. I don't plan on patching for those mods.
