About this mod
Achieve a trans-humanist Star-Trek-y ending for New Vegas by giving the Followers important data.

This is a beta release, I haven't been able to extensively test it, so please report any bugs.
Note that this is a commissioned mod, so I may not 100% agree with any of the design principals or ideas, I have however tried to implement it as cleanly and efficiently as I could.
This mod adds some new ending slides for a trans-humanist Star-Trek-y ending and some new interactions to make it possible:
Pacifying Elijah - SM Vending Machine Blueprints
With this mod, it is now possible to convince Elijah to step down at the end of Dead Money. To complete the full dialogue tree that does this, you need:
- Intelligence 10
- Explorer OR Lessons Learned perk
- Science 100 OR Survival 100
- Idolized Followers of the Apocalypse reputation.
- Completed Veronica's side quest, siding as much as possible with the Followers of the Apocalypse.
By using your skills, experience, Followers ideals, and Veronica, you can convince Elijah to release you and give you blueprints to the Sierra Madre vending machines, which you can then give to Julie Farkas. This will net you positive karma and more positive reputation with them, as they'll use it for humanitarian purposes.
The Vault 22 Data
Upon first obtaining the data, regardless of any other quest status, you are now given a new quest and a misc item version of the data. This quest prompts you to either destroy the data, give the data to the NCR, or to give the data to the Followers of the Apocalypse. This allows a new way to end There Stands the Grass, and adds a couple new interactions:
- You can now additionally convince Keely that the data will go to a big organization that will help people if you completed Veronica's quest siding as much as possible with the followers. This is an additional option to let you keep the data.
- You can lie to Hildern about the data being destroyed. If your speech is high enough, he believes you and blames Keely. If not, you fumble what you say but he still believes you but blames both of you, pissing him off.
You can then give the data to Julie Farkas. This will, again, net you positive karma and more positive reputation with them.
The Ending
Once you have given the Followers both pieces of data, and have achieved an independent ending, new ending slides will play, describing how the Courier with the help of Veronica and the Followers have managed to evolve Humanity into a high tech society. These lines have been voiced by AI, provided as an optional download.
