hi I wanted the mod in my mod list but due to the annoying bug that the character looks in a random direction I looked for a solution and found it and I thought why don't I just share the fixed mod with others.

credits to 6maniman303 for the amazing mod original mod description: True Hidden Helmets New Vegas Edition This mod is designed to hide your helmets, nothing more, nothing less. How it works? At the start of the game you will receive the newest Vault-Tec creation - Vault-Tec Assisting Stealth Helmets Tool, or VASH Tool in short and the note with the instructions. Even if it is greyed in your inventory equip it and close your Pip-Boy and the menu will appear. In this menu you can turn on/off visibility of your helmets (there's a chance it will also unequip some things from your head, so remember to reequip them). You can remove VASH Tool from your inventowy in the menu and recover it by pressing LCtrl and P while playing. Everything is also in the note. The mod requires newest NVSE and JIP and main DLCs: Dead Money, Honest Hearths, Lonesome Road. It is compatible with YUP, but it's mostly not compatible with anything that alters helmets (it shouldn't CTD but it might revert changes from other mods). Feel free to report bugs, but I wont make any patches for other mods (but with proper credit anyone is allowed to make them). Updateing to 2.0 Turn off the mod from VASH before updating to 2.0, or after update equip and unequip every "hidden" helmet. Installation: Copy esp and folders to the data folder of new vegas, or use fomm, nexus mods manager, or vortex, remember to enable the plugin and keep it at the bottom of load order. Next at the first launch of the game with this mod equip from pipboy VASH Tool and turn it on. Remember to reequip your helmets, hats etc. Uninstallation Get VASH Tool if you are missing it by pressing LCtrl and P (for a sec or a little more until you get the notification), equip it, close your inventory, turn off the mod. Next just delete mod files. Actually supported helmets are: 1st Recon Beret Advanced Riot Gear Helmet Boomers helmet Centurion Helmet Combat Helmets Construction hat Desert Ranger Helmet Elite Riot Gear Helmet Fiend Helmets Fire Helmet Goggles Helmet Great Khan Spike Helmet Legate helmet Marked Beast Helmets Metal Helmets MP Trooper Helmet Motorcycle Helmet Prime Helmets Raider Helmets Remnants power helmet Riot Gear Helmets Recon Armor Helmet Recruit Helmets Salvaged power helmet Sierra Madre Helmets Trooper Helmet T-45d power helmet T-51b power helmet Vault 34 Security Helmet Veterans Helmets Vexillarius Helmet Welding Helmet
