Fixes a major bug with Population mods where NPCs passing through the gate triggered the gate sound. This is annoying as it plays across the whole level (as if it were right next to you) regardless of which gate was used. This is a simple fix that only disables the sounds of Strip and Freeside Gate Sound Effects to mitigate this issue.

Permissions and credits
Ever walk through your modded Freeside only to be effected by that dreadful gate noise, effectively bringing your immersion to a grinding halt? This aims to remedy such an issue with a minor fix.

Fixes a major bug with Population mods where NPCs passing through the gate triggered the gate sound. This is annoying as it plays across the whole level (as if it were right next to you) regardless of which gate was used. This is a simple fix that only disables the sounds of Strip and Freeside Gate Sound Effects to mitigate this issue.

Unfortunately I am not talented enough with the GECK to make the sound effect proximity-based, so I only disabled the sound altogether when entering a gate from within the Strip or Freeside. Exterior doors do make a sound, though, as I don't recall this ever being too much of an issue. This was originally just a simple little fix for me, as I thought this mod already existed, but for the life of me I can't find it. However, I wanted to share this with all of you lovely people in hopes to relieve any such issues for those who are in need.

This is my call to action for anyone truly gifted with using GECK or NVSE scripting to make a more quality solution to this issue. This sound effect is, indeed, neat and it feels like I'm cutting a feature here.

This mod is compatible with pretty much anything that doesn't change specifically the Door files for the gates used.
