This is a standalone version of my Laser Garand from the Hog Weapon pack. It uses Small Energy Cells instead of bullets, has an 80 round magazine, and consumes 10 ammo per shot so make them count!
It can be modded with a hunting rifle scope to turn it into an effective sniper rifle.
AQUISITION!
Go to a workbench with a Battle Rifle (GRA), a Laser Pistol, and 4 Scrap electronics. This is a simple weapon and only needs a repair skill of 25.

I made this weapon I think a month before I heard about TargetedFox's Fallout 4 version [https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/63429]. He didn't inspire me to make it, but he did inspire me to post a standalone, (which surprisingly no one else has.)
The unscoped model has a second sighting node. If you have that enabled in StewieTweaks, you can use the original center sights if you really want to.
The sound effects are one of the sniper rifles from Borderlands 1.
