== Overview ==
With this mod, players will receive a small skill bonus from companions based on the companions' tagged skills and the player's Charisma stat. For example, if you have a Charisma of 6 and you hire Arcade into join your party, you'll receive a +6 bonus to your Medicine, Energy Weapons, and Melee Weapons skills, as these are his tagged skills. The skill point bonus is directly determined by your Charisma stat and will update whenever your Charisma increases or decreases (e.g., by taking Mentats or changing clothing).

Creature companions (such as ED-E, Lily, and Rex) do not have tagged skills, so you won't receive a skill bonus when they are in your party.

Due to how the skill bonus is applied, you won't actually see a (+) in front of the skills in your pipboy, but you will be notified what skills a companion is buffing when you hire them.

This mod should be compatible with any modded companions, including those from TTW. Note that in TTW, some companions are still tagged as being proficient in Big Guns, even though that skill is not used in the game. You will still receive a bonus to Big Guns in case you are using a mod that restores that skill.

This mod should also be compatible with mods that allow you to recruit more than one companion. However, skill bonuses do not stack. For instance, if you have both Arcade and Veronica in your party, you will only receive only one bonus to Energy Weapons, as both companions are tagged with that skill.
