This esp-free file simply dispels and refunds the used ingestible (food, chems, stims) any time a robot uses the item in any circumstance. Designed for realism and balance with mods which allow for use of aid items on companions.

Overview:
Fun fact: if a robot somehow uses a chem like Buffout or Psycho or such, it works on them. Same goes for every other aid item type - none of them condition their effects to not apply to robots.

JIP LN, xNVSE, Johnny, the usual stuff.

Installation:
Regular installation.

Compatibility:
Incompatible with mods which add aid items that actually are appropriate for robots.
This wouldn't be difficult to patch though, lmk if there's candidates.

Bugs:
It didn't work 100% reliably when I tested it, likely due to it's scriptrunner nature and some shenanigans I had to do when the initial method I was using didn't want to work, but it seems to work the majority of the time.

Questions:
Does this mess with the setting to use Scrap Metal on robotic companions instead of stimpaks?
It shouldn't.
Does this affect Rex?
He's not in the robot faction, so no, it doesn't affect his usage of any aid items.
Does this affect ___ mod-added companion?
Check their factions in Edit; if they're in the robot or eyebot faction, yeah, it'll stop them being affected by aid items and refund them to their inventory. If not, then it won't.
