- Introduction -
Treasure hunting is an activity where a person search and scan dirt and other surfaces for metallic trinkets with a device called a metal detector, and now you can do this very thing in Fallout: New Vegas! Exciting!
This top of the line modification adds a metal detector with over six hundred manually placed "treasures" to find. Some will lead to bigger loot, some will be less lucrative. Head to Novac and find Treasure Taylor in the south of town to get started with the new hot craze!
Where can I get the Metal Detector? There is an NPC in Novac selling one, south of the gas station.
I can't find any treasure! Make sure you follow the instructions, and to have patience. You're literally combing the desert here.
Why did you make this? I wanted to add an activity to the game that didn't involve combat.
Is the mod compatible with X? Probably. If you have any mods that alter terrain or add new buildings in places, some treasure holes might become inaccessible. Not the end of the world though.
