While many creative liberties had to be taken as I basically had to design the character from scratch, the intent of this mod was to remain as faithful to the vanilla style as possible. Please let me know if I made any immersion-killing sillinesses in the plot and I will try to fix them.
An extended version which includes a new quest is in the works and will be released (very) soon, but I wanted to go ahead and upload the minimalist version first since most people would probably prefer it and I'm satisfied with the current level of completion.
Rotson's voice lines were generated using ElevenAI and a couple dozen sample files from FNV's MaleGhoulGeneric. Consider the audio files in this project to be a modders' resource for anyone who wants to use them to make their own voiced ghoul doctor NPCs.They aren't perfect, but I do take considerably great measures in controlling the quality of the synth output and I might still end up redoing some of them.
***Note: This release is deprecated and will not receive future updates. It has been merged into the AIO collection which I will be focusing on from here on out.
Permissions:
As always, I grant everyone permission to do whatever they want with my files in terms of merges, patches, modpacks, etc. -- good mods belong to everyone. PM me if you need specific permissions.
- Dr. Rotson is now a fully-voiced doctor and merchant with extra Radaway and Rad-x in stock.
- The "Crazed Mr. Handy" was replaced with a friendly one belonging to the new Hell's Motel faction.
- The items in Hell's Motel are now owned.
