In order to use this you have to follow a download chain that takes you all the way to NVSE that is a github download. Be careful folks, this is an easy way for people to sneak malware into your system, and really shouldnt be allowed by Nexus...
If you cant find a way to get your mod working with vortex, dont make it?
I don't see how it's possible either, just telling you my experience. When I installed the mod, I launched the game and loaded my save and the game froze before it could load in. I repeated this process with brand new game, and the same thing occurred. When I deactivated the mod, this issue went away and when I reactivated the mod, this issue occurred again. Not sure what that says about either the current state of my game or the mod, but just flagging that they seem to be linked. Not sure what else I can tell you beyond that, but let me know if I can provide more specific info.
Thanks for this idea, I double checked and I have mod limit fix in its most up to date state - the issue still occurs. I also tried turning off a random mod in my load order before turning this one on to ensure it wasn't something to do with the mod limit, but it still happens. Another way that I tested the mod limit was by installing an unrelated mod and adding it to my load order to see if it would crash, but again it loaded fine.
From all my testing, the issue seems tied specifically to this mod, but I accept that everyone's load orders and understanding of how mods work is different, so it's more than likely something I've done wrong seeing as I seem to be the only person reporting this. Hopefully if this issue crops up for someone else, the information I've given might be of some help!
I have a similar issue except every thing gets blurry to the max when I load into my save with the mod active after exiting the game. I found that if I exit the game and disable this mod then load my game and make a save without it will loads properly but I have to do this every time to make a save load properly.
I think the problem is the Blurry distance mod not the Depth of Field. My bad Ive been trouble shooting it though. I can move my post over there since since that's where the issue is if necessary. Instead of exiting the game, if I load a clean old save tho then load my current it loads properly.
Would you be able to send me the 1.0 version of this mod? I'm trying to figure out the possible cause of a visual bug present for me in B42 Optics and would like to see if the bug is still present in version 1.0.
No matter how many times I reinstall or refresh or do archive invalidation I cannot get the mod to work at all. My guns and melee weapons still get blurry
