MOD IS CURRENTLY ON HIATUS (POTENTIALLY INDEFINITLY)
Not gonna overshare but not long after making this mod I had to deal with a lot of heavy irl stuff. Things are better now but my drive to keep adding to this has been dwindling, especially in the wake of Starfield's release, if I do any more projects it'll probably be for that game instead. If anyone wants to make addons for this mod or use it's files go for it.

-------------------

This is a mod that changes and adds a bit more stuff to wild wasteland to make what's already there closer to it's inspirations and add some new stuff in ways that'll hopefully make sense in context to vanilla instead of randomness for randomness sake.

Without further ado...

v2.1 Showcase:

WILD WASTELAND PLUS: Changing the vanilla game's wild wasteland encounters

REQUIREMENTS:
ALL DLC
JIP LN
Sandcrete Architecture
Ghogiels Holy Hand Grenade NV

CHANGES:

Spoiler:
Show

That Fridge Was a Death Trap! - (Indiana Jones)
-Changed the skeleton to a dead feral ghoul. A sneaky reference to Fallout 4's quest "Kid in a Fridge". (Note: Plus is looks better imo)
-Added three mannequins and a dead mole rat pup to the area as more references to the scene it's based on.
-Added a unique police pistol "Fortune and Glory" on the fridge. Comes with custom sounds I made based off the one from the raiders shootout.
(Note:  I know this probably isn't the exact gun Indy uses but I did a cursory glance and it's the closest there is within vanilla.)
(Originally pitched by user: Wheres_my_bepis) (Pitch to change .44 to police pistol by user: Nikulas552)

- Owen and Beru - (Star Wars)
Changed basic ruined house to an adobe building (using sandcrete architecture) so it's closer to source.

- Maud's Muggers - (Monty Python)
-Added a new outfit, Granny Garments, a reskin of the dirty pre-war casualwear to make their outfits closer to the source material
-Added hats too
-Gave each granny a unique loadout, nothing special, just different blunt melee weapons.

- Holy Hand Grenades - (Monty Python)
-Building off of Ghogiel's/BloodyStigmata's mod, the holy hand grenades now look accurate to source and chant "Hallelujah!" when thrown.
-"Excerpt from the Book of Wasteland Armaments" is a holotape placed next to the grenades including a fallout spin on the source's monologue.

WILD WASTELAND PLUS CLASSIC ADDON: Adds back easter eggs from the classic fallout games

CHANGES:

Spoiler:
Show

- Ed's Dead Baby - (Fallout 1 / Pulp Fiction)
Upon killing Eddie, the leader of the Powder Gangers in the NCRCF, the message "Ed's Dead Baby, Ed's Dead" will appear.

- Oh my god! You killed Kenny! - (Fallout 1 / South Park)
-Oliver Swannick's name will change to Kenny. Killing him will show the message "Oh my god! You killed Kenny!"
(Note: Oliver surviving a massacre with insane luck only to get gunned down by some asshole courier 10 seconds later felt like a great setup for a Kenny joke)
(Note: If you post a good vid of you killing him in an insane way I'll consider adding it to the mod page lmao)

- TARDIS - (Fallout 1 / Doctor Who)
- Adds the Tardis (Model from Murfy27's Tardis mod) to Clark Field
(Note: This one's actually pretty nostalgic to me. First mod I ever did back in 2016 was a Tardis mod using this same asset.)
(Note: Right now it doesn't dematerialize.)

- Who Does Number 2 Work For? - (Fallout 2 / Austin Powers)
-In the room where you find the dead investigator in the Ultra-Lux, a dead employee can now be found head first in the toilet next to graffiti of the phrase.
(Note: Ngl, I honestly forgot this room already had a wild wasteland trigger in it but let's just say this is a two-for-one.)
(Note: I chose that room because if you watch that scene the wallpaper is very reminiscent of ultra-lux and Ted Gunderson reminds me of the cowboy)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WILD WASTELAND PLUS CLASSIC ADDON: This is where pandora's box is opened and true insanity resides.

CHANGES:

Spoiler:
Show

- Misc Dialogue Changes/Additions: -
- Player to Doc Mitchell "I keep hearing voices in my head... they tell me to eat my veggies..." (ENA)
- Player to Elijah after loud introduction in Dead Money "I'm a trifle deaf in this ear. Speak a little louder next time." (Willy Wonka)
- Player to Christine on introduction "Woah! I guess all the king's horses can put Humpty together again." (Humpty Dumpty)

- Two Trucks: - (Neil Cicierega)
- Adds a scene of two trucks uh... well, I'll tell you when you're older. Not actually explicit in any way.

- Double Score Zone!: - (Lego / Simpleflips)
- When entering Morning Star Cavern (next to the hill to the Mojave Outpost) you'll get a jingle and a message saying "Double Score Zone!".
(Note: It's just for show, has no gameplay effect.)

- AWESOMO: - (South Park)
- Inside Cerulian Robotics in Freeside, you can find a familiar robot(?) in the corner with some holotape logs and strange meat pies.
(Note: Big thanks to yoba333 and lordinquisitor for their AWESOMO resource!)

- All by yourself, handsome?: - (Meme)
- In the Gomorrah men's bathroom you'll find a strange woman asking an even stranger question.
(Note: It's hard to know who to credit for any meme once it gets reposted and riffed on enough, sorry.)

- Platinum Belly: -
Alright so this is a big one that can actually have a major impact on the story. If you have the Lead Belly perk and Wild Wasteland when refusing to give the Platinum Chip to Mr House you can select a new dialogue option and swallow it. This has the same effect as refusing the chip normally. Mr House turns on you and voids all your quests with him and as far as I know there's no way to leave without assassinating him. But hey, you get a free perk out of it. Platinum Belly, an upgrade of Lead Belly that negates radiation from food completely. (Well, drops it to 1/10th but that's as close as the engine will allow in my testing). Does this make sense? Is this a good enough reward for throwing away the chip? Who's to say. I just thought the concept was funny and the perk is a little bonus. Destroying humanity's hope for a brighter future in the stupidest way possible ought to be reward enough.

- Kaiju Hunter: -
(Note: Concept will be adding/changing names of bosses to famous Kaiju names)
- Changed the Legendary Bloatfly's name in Old World Blues to "Mothra"
