This mod replaces gunfire sounds for all firearms in Fallout New Vegas. Has patches for TTW, Another Millenia, Tactapack, CFWR, Heffy's AK&AR Weapon Pack (remade and original versions), FO3WR, WotNMaF, etc.

Contains sounds for 72 different weapon types (30 of them - for FNV and TTW).

This mod replaces gunfire sounds for player (2D sounds) and NPCs (3D and 3DDIST sounds). Only for firearms.
Contains patches for TTW, Another Millenia (and Gun-Addon), Tactapack, Classic Fallout Weapons Remastered, Heffy's AK&AR Weapon Pack (remade and original versions), Fallout 3 Weapon RestorationSupplementary Weapons PackWeapons of the New Millenia and FriendsWeapons of the New Millenia.

Ported from JSRS sound mod for ARMA 3 into Fallout New Vegas. More specifically, I used the JSRS sound mod for Stalker Anomaly, which is an adaptation of the mod for ARMA 3.


How mod is works
Mod uses JIP LN Scriptrunner to replace weapon sounds for simplicity and better compatibility with other mods. All files that set gunfire sounds for weapons placed in "NVSE\Plugins\Scripts\". More about that here and here.


How can add sounds from this mod to your weapon
First we need to find out the Editor ID of your weapon. This can be found out in many ways, both inside the game and using FNVEdit or GECK. Next, using this guide, create a .txt file in the NVSE\Plugins\Scripts\ path with the name "gr_*your name for this file*.txt". Then, inside the file using to this guide, we write this:

SetWeaponSound *EditorID for your weapon* 2 JSRSwpn*gunfire sound that you choose from the list below*Fire2D
SetWeaponSound *EditorID for your weapon* 0 JSRSwpn*gunfire sound that you choose from the list below*Fire3D

Example:

In this example, I set the sounds for the Millenia's AK47.

But it may be that your weapon has a silencer modification. Here is an example of how to set sounds for weapons with a silencer mod:

As you can see, instead of the numbers 2, 0 and 1 are now the numbers 11, 9 and 10. This will set the sounds for the AK47 with a silencer modification. Sounds for silenced weapons can be selected from the list below.

Need to know:
Fire2D is a gunfire sound for player.
Fire3D is a gunfire sound for NPCs.
Fire3DDIST is a gunfire sound for NPCs in the far.

Compatibility
Compatible with everything, but if you using AWSOME, don't use AWSOME Plugin, and if you do, delete "NVSE\Plugins\Scripts\gr_AWSOME.txt" (or remove conflicting lines in files from JSRS or from AWSOME). Since JSRS uses JIP LN Scriptrunner, this mod anyway will have a higher priority over any weapon sound mod, but if your weapon sound mod uses JIP LN Scriptrunner, these mods will conflict.
Anyway, this mod replaces sounds only for firearms, and mods that replace sounds for other weapons are highly recommended.
