TLDR
With Gundrops and Icecream, weapons dropped on the ground can fire based on various factors, adding new tactics, unpredictability, and comedy to combat encounters.
These factors include weapon condition, the Luck stat of the actor dropping the weapon, and random number generation.
Firing at enemies' weapons to lower durability and potentially disarm is now a valid option instead of mag dumping them in the head.
Dropped weapons fire their actual projectiles, using their actual fire rate, and create sound detection events using their actual sound level.
Included is a config file which allows you to edit:
If dropped weapons should only fire in combat
The maximum amount of bullets an automatic weapon can fire from a single drop (just the maximum, not the exact amount)
The forces simulating recoil on the gun when firing
